This is amazing 👍🏻. My home and place of birth. I went to Wellington Street school as my dad owns the house across the street and beside the convenience store. I now live beside the mall further east on Wellington St. Thanks so much for this local history. I will be sharing this for sure 🥰❤️

Corrie I attended Myrtle Street school in mid 70’s and lived over on Erie Street. I no longer live in St Thomas but always interested in the history of the city

@@TheHk1966 that's cool. Myrtle and Wellington were a lot alike in structure. It's too bad they tore that school down, like many others. Wasn't Myrtle also an all boys school at one point too? Idk when that stopped but ya, I definitely love hearing history about our city 💕

at 6:12, the storefront behind the J&J McAdam sign was my parents' upholstery shop in the early 1960s.

I was studying in alma college in 1980, it was a beautiful college, I was sad to learn the college burned down, . I remember my English teacher, her name was mrs.pretty

Some good facts. Missed a few details like the Horton St. market, Jennings, the development around the CASO (which I understand will be in other other walk video). I calculate this is a 1.5 to 2 hour walk. Might be nice to note that.

Hi Benjamin,, I saw sandy comment up there and I thought this guys voice sounds like sandy,s , Why.. It’s the now London based Ben Vasquez,, That’s so much easier than reading a book to technology,
