I'm glad this was posted. The scene was a lot to digest when it aired. Also I hate that Elliot felt the need to flee to his 'teeny-bopper girlfriend'.

I disagree that Elliott would have taken his Dad's side if he'd known. The type of angry El was in those years would have allowed him to beat his Dad for that like a rented mule. He'd have been happy for the excuse.

I can see where his brother is coming from though. Elliot definitely looked up to his father more than any of his brothers did. It is evident with the career choices he made even after his father beat him up. I am not saying he would have taken his father's side though Randall does have a point.

If you're looking for just traditional procedural, yes. A lot of people like multi-episode arcs and character development.

I think this is from the latest season - Season 4 (unless they're onto Season 5 now). Not sure which episode. I've been off since Season 3, because of being unable to find episodes (they stopped being uploaded to Hulu).
