I truly loved the character Jack McCoy. I've watched him since '91. I've watched him grow and age like fine wine. I would've loved to see him as a judge, though. Thank you Mr. Waterson, for playing Jack McCoy and for such great performances. Enjoy your retirement. You’ve truly earned it. ❤

Jack McCoy's character was inspired by Robert Morganthau, the long term New York County District Attorney and ironically he ended being as old as him when he retired.

Love McCoy, but for an episode that you’re supposed to be his final episode he should’ve been in more of the episode.
