Alkaff Oasis is a newly-built HDB project that was launched in February 2016, just over 6 years ago alongside Anchorvale Plains in Sengkang and West Plains @ Bukit Batok. It goes without saying which was the most desirable and sought-after launch in that exercise given its mature estate status (it’s officially under Toa Payoh) and centrality.
Despite being under Toa Payoh, it’s common to reference “Bidadari” as the location given the neighbourhood has been featured in multiple headlines so it’s pretty well known, plus it confers the idea that you’re living in a swanky new neighbourhood unlike the older HDBs associated with Toa Payoh.
With a total of 1,594 units spanning over 600,000 sq ft of land space, Alkaff Oasis is the biggest development in the Bidadari neighbourhood - so there's no question that this is a big one.

Fav part is the Living hall, this project got one of the best layout . But but the MBR Is such a let down . In fact I m anticipating how the MBR look like after the first part of the house being featured . Damn turn off lei and A bed under window scenario presents several feng shui challenges . Anyway to each his own and owner may not into Feng Shuai I can only relate and I strongly believe there is no view outside but facing neighbour of another Blk😂 Overall is still a nice house other than the MBR and using white light .. nowadays still got young couple using white light for their new house ? Oops

The laminates, plasterceiling and lights really make the place most luxurious looking than the $90,000 budget. Like the practical French doors too, makes ingress and egress a more pleasant and space saving experience.

Like the overall look and feel of these units in Singapore, I am from Canada and I feel like the main bedroom is underdesigned, it is missing the cool factor of the kitchen or living room, it is almost like two separate professionals worked on the rooms.

I don’t know why the owner like to put the TV and bed against the window, it’s such a weird choice of design. Firstly, he probably can’t watch anything when the sun is out due to glare. Secondly, his TV will be spoilt faster because of the sun. Our weather is no joke. Thirdly, it’s hard to open or clean the windows when there’s obstruction. I don’t even dare to open the windows behind the TV because if I’m not being careful, the TV might just fall out from the windows. Plus, to have curtains dangling on both sides of my bed is just annoying. I can’t put any beside tables at all.
