Staggered Observations - Celestial Navigation

Staggered observations means two observations (of sextant altitude of celestial bodies) separated by an interval of time. In staggered observations, the ship's course and distance, during the intervening period, has to be taken into account in order to obtain the position of the vessel by combining the results of the two observations.
This video uses an example to demonstrate how staggered observations may be used to plot the ship's position at sea.

The first position line of 240-60 degree drawn on the graph should be called a transferred position line as it is been transferred to the second approx position. Correct me if my understanding is wrong sir.
