Lyrics:
Try to let go but you won’t let me
So I’m closed off hating all I see
Play the victim so carelessly
You’re addicted to uncertainty
You bring out the lowest that I have in me
I feel the chaos and the gravity
And I can’t escape the bitterness I can’t change
You bring out the lowest that I have
Lowest that I have in me
Try to hold back, all the anger
But it’s a trigger and I can’t relax
Losing focus on the things you lack
So you push me the brink
And I don’t know what is next
You bring out the lowest that I have in me
I feel the chaos and the gravity
And I can’t escape the bitterness I can’t change
You bring out the lowest that I have
Lowest that I have in me
Lowest of the low
I’m so fucking high
Sever all ties
I don’t recognize what I’ve become
Thread is pulled
You’ve made an animal
You bring out the lowest that I have in me
I feel the chaos and the gravity
And I can’t escape the bitterness I can’t change
You bring out the lowest that I have
Lowest that I have in me

first the bads: stainds music videos been weak 22 years ago, and you managed to make a step back. you litterly tried to replicate outside and made it worse than the original one wich ALREADY was not even remotely close to the old standards. id even go further and say, up to this day, the ONLY decent staind video was Fade. why just decent? it was a low rendered rip off of linkin parks "in the end" the only other difference was in comparrison, they "steven spielberged" that shit. like what the hell 7 albums and not a single fan offers help with the videos? shame on us. but the worst thing is, you hyped us up for this video. besides of that, this is a Music video from the groupe Staind and you did jhonny April dirty until 1:10 wich is his first appearence in the video after that he's a part of the band lol the goods: even though you failed to replicate outside with technologie at hand wich was not arround 22 years ago you kinda kept the same style as the band did with the sound. the real problem i see there is: why does the song and the video feel like, someone told them to be themselves but 20 years ago? thats not what staind is about. it feels frustrating to see and hear that people with money stand behind staind and dictate them what to play by what sold the most. instead of helping them to evolve their sound in a believable way; someone prisoned them in the past. you're basically saying hardrock / metal is death. that is not real, that is basically music made by an AI fed with "Staind" but not Staind in it's core and every diehard Staind fan will agree on that. but hey, it atleast catches some of Aaron's Country fans lol and im loling at that, cause the way this piece got produced looks and feels like you aimed for me instead of them xD pretty close, but still a miss ^^ not honest enough im feeling it like a staind product, maybe a coffee mug , a plushy or a shirt, but not like a staind song. so it was not a terrible production, just missed the spot slightly. 7/10 points from me. the true win of this song is, i thought Staind is litterly dead with the album Staind. they couldnt have made a better good bye album. i was not calculating in to ever again hear a "Staind like" album from them again and im positively surprised by this. however, what Aaron Lewis says in public about politics.... man i thought i know this man, haven't thought he is a nationalist who votes for Trump and dreams about the third reich. i was wondering at that point if he was wearing a Staind mask all this time just for the money.... it started to feel realistic that he dropped down into this dusty countryhole

I'm 37 today and at 14 i found staind when my absent biological father died and I had so much in me that I was drowning on land. But Break The Cycle album was and still is a an absolute work of art that helped me say everything I couldn't. now that I'm older they're testing me for autism and adhd, as a girl it's hard to find the right professionals. so thank you for the free therapy when I was utterly alone as a teen 🖤🖤🖤🖤

They came out swinging with this song at Grand Rapids tonight. Holy crap, never realized how amazing Aaron's voice is until tonight. His range is amazing. The demonic growling to the high angelic vocals, all in the same breath. Truly one of the best artists of this age. Bug shoutout to everyone who played tonight! I am speechless. Just hearing this, understanding that this is the first time I'm hearing something brand new after 12 years, oh my god... You guys were my number one band through the darkest times of my life, I grew up listening to your music and it helped me a lot. I even have "Falling Down" and "Blow Away" uploaded on my channel from way back in 2010 and those songs still resonate with me. I am so happy and omg this is such a nice throwback and it sounds absolutely amazing!! Right when I needed this kind of music in my life again, to breathe in something new like this is just epic.

I think it's good that Aaron has his side career as a country artist where he can explore the soft material and whenever he comes back to Staind they focus on the heavy stuff. This is amazing.
