I remember playing stalker in 2007 after release, it was buggy mess until patches started rolling, got chance to play s2 at last year's gamescon event, felt like original in terms of atmosphere and everything, really nostalgic feeling.

@@Jay-ri7lt Not sure, had plenty of ammo but no guns for most ammo, and not really was checking if there were different types of ammo, no trader was available also, plus 30 mins only demo is hard to check everything.

The trailer was expectedly tricked out to look pretty as compared to the real graphics but I've seen the recent leaks and they look really good, much better than some people expect. And for everyone who has just heard of these series and wants to play S2, you have to try Shadow of Chernobyl to get into the lore, it's worth it after all these years

Very interested in what this game will be like. Looking forward to playing in the massive open world and also how modding will affect the game. I am always looking for that hardcore GAMMA or Tarkov survival aspect of a living world the exists around you yet is absolutely lethal to you at the same time while you try and gather better equipment.

Like you mentioned, the modding community will be on fire straight from release day. I bet it will take no more than one day before the first small mods and tweaks start to arrive. Also I am wondering to what extent the developers took inspiration from all the stalker mods out there. It will be some next level shit if we get a pack like g.a.m.m.a. for Stalker 2!

correct me if im wrong but in the last official game we didnt get to see the condition of war between duty and freedom and in 2nd last we saw that the grand emission pushed all factions back a few steps wich means that the war between freedom and duty could've been long done in the times of call of pripyat we just dont know it

I'm really hoping they kept that RPG sandbox style of gameplay where you can make your own story and grind to build your character and get better ammo and gear, from what I've seen in the gameplay it doesn't seem like they have different ammo types like HP and AP so it makes me think the the grind for better ammo and armour wont be in this one but hopefully I'm wrong!

I had preorded ages ago and almost debated on cancelling when seeing some of the previous downgraded trailers but man that new one looked so good so I'm hoping this will be absolutely killer. @@Chud-mb7gl well idk these past few releases games have been brutal to run , so i might be a bit pesimistic but with how good the game looks (and according to the demo testers the does look as good as the trailer ) i am a bit worried if i can have a smooth 1440p ultra experience but if they do not change the recomended settings i should be able to easilly play it . We will see when it releases though

@SUPER_BES_GAMEPLAY to be fair anomaly or gamma wasnt that bad , for me personally it was good although i still prefer the classic trillogy if stalker 2 is like combining the mechanics of anomaly / gamma with the story depth of the original trillogy its going to be a masterpiece imo.

from everything ive heard about stalker 2 it is unfortunately going to be a buggy mess. so its probably going to have a rough launch. but im a patient person and as long as they work on fixing those bugs after launch i think itll be fine. that team has been through a lot and i will at least be patient with them on it.

I also heard another youtuber talk about the game having massive screen tearing issue when it was playable at the summer game fest but ive only heard him talk about that issue so im not sure if thats an actual problem or not. Trailers are usually on easier difficulty settings, because it's more exciting to look at. Crouch peeking corners isn't the most amazing footage to watch, but rest assured that there will be higher difficulty options, and you can be guaranteed that the modding community will totally overhaul the damage/difficulty system, regardless of how it is at launch. In the original trilogy just moving from a mission hub to your objective often took 20 mins and was an extremely dangerous journey that had to be planned for

Combat ai was always strange in stalker games, it really gets to shine in idle, the NPCs and animals have a constant life pattern that plays in the background

No way in hell will this game run smoothly, at least not on launch and even after everything is fixed it will need a highend gpu and DLSS/FSR to keep the stable 60fps. And if its like Anomaly/GAMMA, with the living world feature, you will also need a highend CPU.

Not 50% , man I just can't tolerate this BaD bItCh trope anymore, it infects everything and I just hope GSC doesnt westernize too much, but the fact its a console game coming to game pass, is a huge red flag, the original games werent made for a wide audience, they were a EE niche made by a small team which is why they were so good imo. I have a hard time playing stalker trilogy on my ps5 😅 for some reason im not understanding the overall of them how to get currency and adding attachments to weapons etc... I really really hope that they will have stalker 2 not be so complicated to understand overall as well and of course better weapons and attachments etc...

@@bluetherobot i can see graphics upgrade but for gods sake, people in conversations give me Oblivion vibe. Not to mention the monotonous tone of voice. Cyberpunk vs Starfield YT short clips show how backwards Bethesda is, from convos to fights not to mention loading screens. I have little hope for new ES being any good

@@bluetherobot from the looks of it its going to the next cyberpunk . Amazing game with great graphics and an incredible story but incredibly buggy and hardware intensive . Honestly? Im all for it lol

Anomaly / Gamma 2 gonna be lit. That said, I hope Stalker 2 does already have some of the more popular fan made features and content incorporated in the base game. I mean, with the amount of things that the community had created over the years, the devs must have taken notes on what we want.

Would not hold my breath for anomaly or gamma 2 for stalker 2 one of GSCs community manager when asked about mods side while they are more than fine with mods that require the original games The same cannot be said for standalone's. More over all the standalone mods are based off the source code for x-ray engine without GSC's consent

It doesn't, gamma and anomaly are tarkov mods. The last time devs took inspiration from the fanbase was right around the time S2 development was announced, there was a reddit thread in which one of the GSC members asked the fans what would they like to see, nobody mentioned anything from the mods

i have been spoiled by Single Player Tarkov. I'm not even a little excited for stalker2. I'm not going back to those stupid anomalies getting in the way of good gameplay while being an annoying "god did it" crutch for the writers. meh stalker, meh the entire franchise
