Had fun on a loaned SUP, so decided to try making one for myself. This is how we made the blank.

Very cool! I can’t wait to see how it does when someone stands on it and see if it will still float on water!

about 62 pounds per cubic foot of water dissplaced, foam 1.5 pound per cubic foot. 186 pounder, need about 3 cubic feet of foam foam 4" X 4' X 8' = 1/3 X 32 = 10 cubic feet per sheet, 1/2 a sheet good enough minus the weight of the foam it floats for sure

Dang. Thanks, for demoing my plan to make an sup. thinking fiberglass tubing to make it really strong. enough to mount a sail, dagger board and rudder. FR4 G10 fiber glass sheet is great for strength, cuts like wood. thanks

I've paddled it for several months. Just looking to get out on the water on a stable platform. That's what I got.

Way to much foam .

Maybe so - Gorilla Glue worked better, as the foam didn't want to spread out
