I love this character, If I was the story teller I would totally do Battalion vs Legion. Basically everyone trying to make up information. xD

I did this! In our third game we played that night haha, legion got trigger happy and executed 2 good players straight off the bat... gg!

If I were a vortox in a battalion game, and we went a day without executions and the game didn't end, I would immediately choose myself to win the game.

It was discussed during the game that Vortox win condition wasnt in-play either way, which now has a much better jinx. The problem was that Battalion could force a tie and win, so I just said no win condition until we think of a Jinx It's now jinxed such that "Battalion does not flip the Vortox win condition"

Battalion vs Riot is guaranteed good win. Once a battalion is nominated they will only kill good players. Its not a crazy game.

I'm surprised we didn't see someone admitting they were battalion to the point where evils knew it was a battalion game. In our third game (legion - battalion) I had Kowa claim battalion to me as soon as we started talking. Luckily it was actually legion and not vortox, so we were on the same team and won together, but it was a risk I was not willing to take before that. ig the players targeted by harpy and cerenovus would know it's vortox and not legion though, so they have an idea at least.

Yeah in this version of the legion/vortox interaction, some players can instantly know 100% guaranteed. Good point though! I guess the reason was because Kowa was evil this game lol.

Spoilers: Errr.... why did the game end? The game doesn't end when only evils are alive, that's just common practice when it's obvious that minions won't nominate their demon (i.e. not poppy grower/magician), and there's not something like Heretic to potentially flip the game on its head. Oak should still have been given the option to go to sleep and kill themself in the night, if they thought it was a Battalion game.

Spoilers... Why did the game not end after 30 minutes? They did not execute anyone in a Vortox world, did they? Or do I have a mix up in my brain here.

Yeah you're totally right they did. The game didnt end because we hadnt though of the best interaction for the vortox win, so we just said it wasnt in play this game. If it was, the good team could just rise up and force a tie, meaning they win no matter what. Now we have a jinx for it that says "Battalion does not flip the Vortox win condition".

ST clarifies that we were running it as if the vortox wincon didn't exist, because battalion can always force a tie once they've figured out its a vortox game, there's a jinx fixing this interaction now but Ellie ran it like this as a quick adhoc fix

They can't be, all good players are battalion

@@diegodoesstuff86 Exactly right, But, Nouser, to answer your question - probably still would be 1 flip, the Battalion Alamanac will state that only 1 flip happens, even though each battalion could rightly flip the wincon by themself... so I'd say, whoever wins loses & loses wins, just like if there was only Heretic or only Battalion :)

@@Silverrzz actually nevermind it's totally possible with philosopher battalion, it makes complete sense that multiple battalion swaps can't happen but I'd think if battalion and heretic were both in the game tho they should cancel each other out

@@diegodoesstuff86 I have never though of Philo battalion haha, I'm not quite sure that works, because they would learn every good player and therefor know who the evils are, so if it cancelled then they could win the game guaranteed.

@@Silverrzz yes but only if the Philo can find the heretic, otherwise they still have to kill all the good players. They only learn who the good players are, not their characters.

Is there a jinx with Vortox and Battalion since vortox creates false information which means that good players might see evil players as their other battalions?

There is not a Vortox jinx for that, if Vortox is in-play then each Battalion learn all the evil players! This is why Legion is on script, Battalion can't be sure if they saw a small amount of good, or the evils!
