Great video but it's technically wrong, once first inserted and touches bone, you must move the angle of the needle from opposite premolars to ipsilateral molars, insert until touches bone, then return again to opposite premolars and finish depositing. BONUS retract 1 cm from that angle to anesthetize the lingual nerve. Hope this helps someone!

I was very surprised my anesthesia almost didn't hurt at all; the needle was super small and fine,foctor applied the numbing spray,I felt very little discomfort! (And I do have phobia of going to dentists,but now it isn't that strong )

I got this for my wisdom teeth extractions. I was under laughing gas, which made the injection feel like a smooth, rounded tip was being pressed hard against the tissue, and then there was some squeezing in the back where the anesthetic was being placed. Not like someone was actually spearing the tissues. But during the recovery there was some discomfort by the injection site

Hi! So they did this to me today to treat a cavity in the last molar on the left side. It was the first time in my life I feel pain when they injected me, and I´ve done this many times. Also, my jaw locked shortly after and I could not open it so we had to cancel the procedure. IS THIS NORMAL? can someone explain what happened to me?

Possibly went in at a wrong angle and injected a muscle called your medial pterygoid which can cause what’s known as trismus!

@@xxliaz9068 yes it went away after a few days! And I was able to fully open my my mouth finally. It was so uncomfortable!! I changed dentist and it never happened again.

It happened to me many times. It took 9 month for nerv recovering and it feels like electricity stroke, when they hit the nerv. I have thought I am the only one to whom it happened. But seems, others have experience with that as well. If they don't hit the nerv, I don't think it hurts extreme much. But in my case, nearly every time
