This workout is a must for anyone looking to increase their balance while also toning the muscles and working the core. All exercises are performed in a standing position and are low impact. I use dynamic movements to increase mobility and increase flexibility while increasing muscle mass.
I'm using one 4lb dumbbell for this full body workout. Any weight 2-5 lbs would work well.
You will also need a chair for several of the moves. The chair is used so we have correct form as well to serve as an object to hold on to for balance exercises.

I am so glad I found this channel! I have always been active and sometimes avoid “senior “ workouts for fear they won’t be effective. But Lauren strikes exactly the right balance-the workouts are challenging enough to see results, but not so hard to be discouraging !

Great job. Thanks for sharing these workouts. I’m very ill with stage 4 cancer, but hope to get back to doing your workouts if my new treatment is effective and improves my situation, unfortunately I’m immobile at the moment, but have been doing some of your seated upper body exercises to help ease away the pain. So very grateful for your continued support 🙏💕

This was wonderful. It was at a very good pace and your cues to change were perfect. This 78 year old senior kept up with every change of exercise with no issues. Thank you so much for keeping this at a slightly slower pace for us “young at heart.”

I've been a subscriber of yours for several months now. I enjoy the vast variety of videos - there is something for everyone. I've lost weight, am getting toned, and feel confident in my ability to do whatever new video you post. However, with new videos I find "new" muscles I didn't know I had. 😄 Keep 'em coming!

Great workout Lauren. I almost fell over laughing at the fire hydrant. Never heard that before. This is an ideal length for balance and toning workout. Keep them coming!

I am so grateful for these videos, Lauren. I had been having stem pain in my thigh post hip replacement in December. These workouts have cured that! No more pain! I am telling all my friends about your channel. You are a Godsend, my dear. ❤️

I loved this Lauren, thank you. The gentle pace is deceptive. I could really feel this in my muscles afterwards but my balance is improving all the time. The consistency of exercising six days a week is really paying off.

I love that you added in stretches in between to move the connective tissue as well as release the muscles. I have been trying to do this on my own and love that you added it to the workout!

Oh my! That was so much more of a workout than I expected. Just what I wanted. I was even sweating a little. Was looking for cardio and weights but landed on this because I always need core and balance. Fantastic moves. Full body workout and stretch. 😁😍
