So true in the 80’s & 90’s bullies were protected. My son tiny smallest kid in school was attacked. 1st time I went to the school and played their ignorant games but I also warned them next time I’m telling my son to finish it. Next day I get the call, so to school I went threatened to bust the vp in the nose like what happened to my son before he responded. My son knocked all of the bullies teeth loose. I took my son to Mc Donald’s for lunch and we left for vacation earlier. Party time!!!

It's not about "equality", it's about _"liability"_ and the POS that raise such little terrors are some of the most litigation-happy people you'll ever have the misfortune to meet - and said little terrors know that, and misbehave accordingly; and since school districts neither want nor can afford the lawsuits, they cave in to whichever side they believe is more likely to sue them (care to guess which side that usually is?).

I was being bullied no stop for the entire school year and when the bully made fun of my grandma for dying I had enough. I fought him and broke his nose. When we went to the principal the bully claimed he was trying to give him a flyer and I punched him. I tried to explain to the principal that I was defending myself but the principal thought he was right. Ruined my life and the bully ended up getting charged for assault. Teachers don’t know how to watch kids.😢

No they don't!! Bullies need to be punished for hurting people!! I was bullied!! It's horrible!!

Right! and it's always the victim being punished. Instead of the bully.

@@FuzyPlatypus Not really. Prolonged mental and emotional torment and harassment has far longer lasting and socially crippling effects than even a broken bone, the latter still not even being a common consequence of defense against bullies.

If there's Jason Statham in this film, you know a simple bullying would turn into an action drama. The MC defending his daughter and himself would trigger a war...

It is still moronic that Cassie suffered no real consequences. She sicced her crazy meth dealer brother on these people, but gets off because she had a change of heart? That's crap.
