Use this video to pause for 5 minutes of "peace and rest in a hurried world" today. Peace is a gift received, which then can overflow from the heart in loving and serving others. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27). "Peace" was inspired by this verse and a little girl named Hayley who died of leukemia. This has led to 50,000 CDs being donated to families and children facing cancer, offering hope and healing.

I had a stroke, the broke my leg a year later which have disabled me, confined to a wheelchair now... in therapy trying to walk again. Your music brings me peace and solace when I study the Bible and pray - and when I paint which is one of the few hobbies I can still do... bless you, Stanton. 💜

💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏My father is in the hospital right now since the beginning of the year from a stroke. He's got more things going on as well but this song brings peace and reassurance and is enjoyable during this and other times. Dear LRS, when I first head Bread of Angels by Stanton, I was so moved I could almost bear not to listen. If you haven’t yet played it then please find it. It has the same ethereal vocals too. I have recently rediscovered this and I have to say, it moves me in the same way - such deep emotions and beauty. He has a gift for sure.

I'll guess during these challenging, chaotic Pandemic times you may be writing your best music; A sequel to my fav song "Silence", would be great- lol. IDK where I'll be tomorrow, week or year from now (my guess when large gatherings will resume fully)- Sadly I am still homeless but trying really hard to get back down south, (NJ/NY people too loud + "rough like sandpaper", for my spirit). Though, guess it's everywhere, nowadays. E g. Recent very sad GA news: Murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Shocking! Not my experience there (Gwinnett County), actually opposite, I was impressed how neighborly, all colors, commingled. idk?- A scarily sinful world we live in. Take care.

I ordinarily would not address or answer this type of question, but today, I have to say: Haters hate everything, including themselves + everyone else; They especially hate those with God-inspired talents. Saddens me to see, so many "haters" almost everywhere I go these days...So instead of allowing it to crush my spirit, I look up to God + seek + enjoy those people + things, he placed on this earth, to "Build Us Up", like Stanton Lanier :) btw, Just like LIARS, there is no space in my life, for HATERS- Block them out.

Thank you so much for your lovely gifts you have given through your piano music. I find all your pieces peaceful to my soul and heart. My daughter is a pianist as well. I find that when i sit and play it has brought peace. Throughout my life I have always made up most all my songs on the piano. Then I came across your music then I realized we have similar tastes. Thank you. I would love to hear one of your concerts. Just an FYI. my daughter is the pianist just lost her 34 yr old husband in an over night illness. They have 3 small children 1, 6, 10. The stone church shown at about the 4:35 mark....where is this? There is a small stone church in Kennebunkport, Maine that I've visited that reminds me of this.

With all due respect, there are some tiny noises in the left side channel, since about 0:45 . the same as the CD that I bought. However, the song is still quite beautiful.

Hi George, I'm so glad you find beauty in this song. "Peace" is a piano-vocals instrumental duet, and the vocal whispers enter at about 1:45, and are in and out through the end of the song.
