He was worried after his operations that he would lose his voice. But he has gotten a different and higher tone now. The Lord closed one door and opened another. Still has power.

Hi Stan (The man) I watched you,your mum,and the rest of your family going thorough your op,having to get it done after finding out that most of your family carry a cancerous gene in your tummy it is hereditary, so you had to get the operation ,but at the same time you where so frightened to have it done ,it was a must but also you didn't know how your voice was going to turn out or if you where ever going to have a voice ??? Still at this point i never new that you where a professional signer !! And yes you do now have a Fantastic slim body , I watched your recovery ,and you going through one setback after another ,in the meantime trying to get some of your family to go and get the operation ,because it runs in the family ,then you convinced your uncle to go and get it done ,which he followed through with and all turned out well . I never new until I watched another tv show that you where a fantastic singer and that you had done the NZ THE VOICE , It he first time I heard you sing I had goosebumps, man you where amazing ,I'm so glade I watched that TV SHOW . Now I could listen to you all day you have such a powerful soul mixed tone it's just RAD,hope your mum and the rest of your family keep and stay well ,I love your mum's tattoo on her chin symbolic , and patriotic as you NZ people are ,be safe ,good in health and keep that amazing voice of yours well maintained its a gods blessing , yours faithfully MOYRA.😎💖💜as sorry about the grammar lol 👅👅

His music is helping me finding myself after giving myself to so many other I’m finally gathering the broken pieces of my life and starting over again at 57. I just found Stan a couple months ago and I cannot get enough! I’m sitting here thinking the exact same thing! I’m in my room and I cannot contain my joy! How did those folks gain the honor of sitting in that room - what I would give to be there…I am sure I’d be leaving my seat and making a fool of myself. Never heard of you until I happened to run across STAN the documentary which was a very inspiring story and very brave to publicize your struggles and challenges to share with the world. My first observation was how funny you were throughout it all and still. Your voice is a gift from god and best of wishes with your rising career and the family you aspire. I’m a mother of four and to see them grow up as young responsible adults is awesome and they mean so much to me. God Bless and Mahalo.

I've just discovered Stan Walker through Ultralight Beam. I feel like found GOLD! You music is so beautiful and i love esspecialy your Songs in the Maori language. Even though i always have to get the text translated since i dont understand a word😅, these songs bring with them such an authenticity an purity. So awesome that music has literaly no boundarys an reaches over all parts of the world (in my case Swizerland). Much love to you all❤️

Praying also for your mum as we enter into Breast Cancer awareness month in the USA..I too an a survivor and I was nursing my son a long time ago when I found it...always worried I passed along a gene or something to him as a baby...breaks my heart that I can't do anything about it. So I connected with your mum. Well we both survived well 17 years ...me I had a journey to take mostly surgery but 17 years later we were both alive and well and I was cancer free. I was blessed God allowed me to see my family 3 kids grow up...then it came back

I was an anomaly.. somehow, it lay dormant, and this time spread to my 🫁 lungs. I could completely relate to your recovery of learning to breathe differently?, walk short of breath, survive chemo and the loss of 1/3 of my lung on one side and radiation to the other ...I couldn't sing a full song in church...can't sing anyways, lol but I loved praise and worship...many set backs but I'm still here..stage 4 metastatic breast cancer 🎀 but I will celebrate 9 years at the end of this month that I'm still alive!!

I just went to see Elevation Worship with my husband and son..my other kids are married and live away. I was singing my heart out and praising God I could finish a full song. He gave me this breath so I praise his name. My son is on the worship team at church, and we just had a ball. My hubby is reserved like your dad, lol.

I think how proud I am for you and your journey my son doesn't have pipes like you but he is a up and coming singer producer if he gets a chance I hope the industry doesn't eat him alive... that's why you also give me hope. Somebody on the others side of the world understands your "new normal" and what you had to overcome. I am glad I'm still here fighting and I plan to see what God has for my son as well. Thank you for taking us on your journey with this event. My only small complaint is that it wasn't a longer show..... It's to see you've come full circle without forgetting your Maori roots. Your music has elevated way higher than when you first started from Idol. I wish you continued success with your career brother. Kia Kaha as my uncle would say.
