I believe I recall CIG mentioned that other items will be able to snap on a cargo grid other than SCU containers. If they can apply the same tech on the vehicle bay with a smaller tighter grid, that would be a huge QoL improvement.

Damn shame there is no forward access around the grav-generator in 400i, that would make the entry and exit so much more convenient... I hope there will be variants of that vessel in the future...

Lifts and elevator behavior for ships in Star Citizen are such a roll of the dice. They should be much higher on the priority list of things to fix than they are.
