I LOVE this book!! I checked it out of the library as a teen over 20 years ago (god I feel old) and I was blown away by how intense the storyline is. I found it a couple years ago at a used bookstore and you can bet your ass I bought it!

The moment I realized these were read by the actors, I was in. Also look at mad Picard, he wants so badly to act out the plot of first contact.

Having him read it makes me think of Q telling a story as he sits there observing Picard before the next trial. I cannot get that idea out of my head.

i love john delancy, but o'brians accent sounds like it doesn't know if its scottish, irish or jamaican. he nailed most everone else though. he's great in I,Q.

There’s a big section that’s missing….i felt disconnected from Tori and laforge first arrived then suddenly Picard and Barkley are introduced. When did Picard replace his counterpart??!?

This would have made a great star trek movie, though I doubt Marina Sirtis would be comfortable wearing a crop top and low rise dress, or comfortable showing her belly button.

I much prefer this interpretation of the mirror universe over DS9’s dull, dour and depressing version. Even if Intendant Kira made me girl-crush hard.
