Thought I'd burst a blood vessel laughing at this! I can't believe I've watched Star Trek for 53 years, and just now discovered this.

"It's worse than that, it's physics!", this was flat-out hilarious to listen to, nay, beyond hilarious in fact! I loved it!

It's Sunday morning 23, 2024 and I was remembering my youth many many years ago and listening to doctor dementio and all the crazy songs he would play and this was always in my top five.

This song was released in September '88 and was one of the few good laughs I'd have for awhile. I was in the midst of paying for the one rebellious act in my life up to that point. I married my first wife, against the advice of everyone and his brother, and I paid for it when she walked out less than two months in after we dated for four years. Then to be difficult, she contested the divorce just to make the holidays difficult. Then I heard this song a few times, and things were OK for awhile. Let's just say after seeing my first wife recently on You Tube, seeing how she turned out, and finding out she's getting divorced again, I can say, "She's life, Jim, but not as we know it!"

OMG had forgotton this. My husband and I were soon singing along at the top of our voices ! Laughing all the time. I remember hearing it being sung on the street, the kids loved it of course.... Thanks for the memories and brightening our day. x

First heard the chorus to this roughly 25+ years ago, when it was used in a commercial for a German television station putting the original Star Trek series on their schedule. With a great tagline that translates to "Space is back to what it used to be again!", and a hard-cut to Naked Time Sulu jumping out of the turbo lift with his rapier.

Wonderful song by a great band, The Firm. I really enjoyed it.

I awoke in the cells of the local cop shop in 1989 and i was still drunk when we arrived at court. It was an eye opener for me and i started singing the line, "Its Life Jim, But Not As We Know It" and all the guys in the cell awaiting their name called in court, started laughing up a storm, we were all in the same boat. I was fined $100 dollars for being near death wih alcoholic poisoning. 😆 Drunk, Drunk In Charge Of Myself.

OMG I love the pictures of things and people you don't expect but they fit and perfect timing! Jabba, Han Solo, Herbie too LOL laughing so hard! I heard this for the first time about 27 years ago. I was in a group of friends who were all fellow nerds and talented. We'd get together and table top game and play and sing songs. We used to do Monty Python type skits for the kids in children's church. It was family friendly hilarity and we would use Trek references as well. This song brings back wonderful memories ❤️ and laughs!!!
