Yes however there is also nobility, vulnerability, bashfulness, innocence, recklessness, impatience, bravery, charisma, wit, loyalty, sincerity, honesty, passion, etc. Many qualities (found just in AOTC alone) people severely and frustratingly overlook and underrate, but it's ALL there and all make up Anakin and shards of it carry over towards him as Vader as well.

Also technically the seeds had been planted in TPM with leaving his mother and being too old to be trained, AOTC is where it blossomed in act 2 of a 3 part tragedy. However, a lot of the nuance and subtext with Anakin and the fact that he was a good person to begin with and in general before he fully turned to the dark side gets overlooked which is again annoying and frustrating. Another thing is just imagine the amount of cruelty and unjust treatment he was subjected to as a kid being a slave on Tatooine as well as having to endure the dangerous and harsh nature/conditions of the environment and some of its inhabitants and wildlife and YET still be optimistic about the future and still choose to be kind and generous, even to complete strangers like Qui-Gon and Padme in TPM.

@@anthonygarcia8749 that’s why I don’t like when people say he “turns fast”, it’s not true. He doesn’t just “turn” he falls to the dark side it’s a slow burn from Episode 1 to 3.

@@sose6255 they're not and never were, it's a stupid and annoying misconception. It's about discipline. Managing and keeping yourself in check, to not allow your emotions get the better of you, especially if you're someone wielding a deadly lightsaber and force abilities. In other words it's not wrong to feel shit, it's wrong to act on them, and Anakin gave in to his anger when he slaughtered the sand people which we can understand but that's a dangerous place for a jedi because that's a ripe spot for falling into the dark side and being tempted into it. It's not ideal for a jedi to harbor hatred and grudges. Also imoortant to note that people severely and annoyingly overlook is how Yoda sensed Anakin was in pain and you could see this great veil of sadness Yoda expresses and with Mace coming asking what's wrong, it shows that they're concerned nd care for Anakin. Another point is that jedi are trained to understand and accept the transitional nature of life that is to say things come and go, but you can't hold on to things or people forever in the sense of possession, controlling their fates, choices and path. You can love them while they're here, care for them, defend them but if they go from your life you have to ultimately accept it and keep moving forward. Maybe they'll come back (if they moved away) just as an example. It's wrong to attach to people or things out of fear, greed or jealousy. Another thing that people misinterpret is when Obi-Wan saying "dreams pass in time" to Anakin. That's not writing him off, that's saying don't let your dreams be the end all, be all, at the end of the day they're just dreams, they'll pass.
