Yes, if we had the game shown in this trailer that would have been worthy of the title Battlefront. A true sequel to ROTJ and showing us Imperial Iden standing for what is right. Looks like she'll defect somewhere in the storyline. It was hinted in first trailer, now it's showed more obviously. Probably we'll see her uncovering baby-eating habits of regime and that's a shame. I also hoped for no clear good-evil sides and actually playing Empire through the whole campaign.

After reading the book, I very highly doubt that Iden will defect. She's made her loyalty very clear. The only way I can see her defecting is if she is on the wrong end of the Imperial assault on Vardos, her homeworld. And even then, she could be the one spearheading that assault.

If ever she does defect (fingers crossed she doesn't, I'd love a full-on Empire story), it'd probably be because she doesn't think the First Order is anything like the Empire it used to be, like it's turned from keeping the Galaxy in control to terrorizing it like what the Rebels did back in the Empire's days (well, to her POV, at least).

It really could have been a story about the legitimate Imperial government attempting to maintain order, to fight a Rebellion as well as certain revolts amongst its own ranks (elements that may have gone on to become warlords and the First Order), before eventually becoming the Imperial Remnant on Coruscant. But instead they went with some twisted plan which seemed highly unlikely that the Empire would start destroying itself? And as you say instead of a more logical and coherent story (like Episodes 1 to 6) which followed a political scenario/galactic control, it went with the loyal Imperial randomly joining the Rebellion and not a single Imperial officer questioning the self destruction of the Empire. Not to mention the fact that the Rebels somehow overwhelm the Empire so fast. There is actually hardly any story in the game at all. Big disappointment. Could have at least had Iden have been the Mara Jade character who met Luke. But what were they thinking? It's all teasing and trailers with no substance.

Urm... Not sure about that. The DLC says "During the rise of First Order" nothing that Iden joins. Bear in mind. Hask is in the First Order as an officer and he wants to go after Iden. So... How on earth is Iden going to join First Order? If Hask want her dead? I think she will fight the First Order along the Ressistance. I can't see logical explenation why she would join First Order. As to scenes which were in the trailer. We can see her saying "Hope cannot save them" on Vardos arround Storm Troopers so that was in the past and not in the camapign. As to the Luke Scene. That was on Pilios and I think it was Del ponting blaster at Luke but that scene also was removed.

They might be obtaining information about her recent actions against the rebellion or maybe she's just asking for their surrender/threatening them over holo.

but even then... they could make just better Helmets for them overall... ore uniforms... they are basicly wearing Standard TIE uniforms..... thats pretty boring and not taht special in comparison to Republic Special Forces like the Republic Commandos, ore the old Canon Imperial ones like... well the Imperial Commandos(the replecmant of the Republic commandos not the other names for the SCs) ore the Stormcommandos...(even if they only had normal Scout Armor)
