Today we countdown the top 10 Star Wars Black Series WORST Figures. The Black Series has been around since 2013 and has seen over 200 figures produced to date, but some should be avoided by most collectors. If you're just jumping into the line then you're going to want to check this out. If you are a veteran Black Series Collector, then you're probably going to enjoy ripping me for some of these picks. General Hux. Bad sculpt, almost no paint apps, bad articulation and bad face. Also the standard release of Jabba, barely articulated and comes with nothing.

@Matt Osment Here's why I disagree. Slave Leia is sort of a concept that was designed to titillate early teen boys that made up the Star Wars fanbase in 1983. But as far as what that moment is about in the story, you have a gangster who captured this Rebel heroine, and he forces her into an uncomfortable bikini and chains her up, and she STRANGLES HIM TO DEATH WITH HER OWN CHAINS! It's such a "don't mess with this person or she will wreck you" moment and I think Huttslayer Leia really drives that point home how ruthless Leia can be if she has to be.

@Nerdzoic not trying to be a jerkdiuck but since commented on your pronunciation I gotta ask - @5:33 did you pronounce Bespin Han as "Beespin"? Totally threw me! Was just talking about things I mispronounced so again, more curiosity why you say it that way unless if I'm mishearing it. And would have included IG-88's incorrect scale as well - he's wayyyy too small (he and R2 are like 5" scale, WTF Hasbro, fix them!! And yeah, Ceremony Luke looks like he's experimenting with drag. Most of the Lukes are terrible except the new Bespin Luke and new Jedi Luke. Wet hair Stormtrooper Luke is totally some other person entirely. Overall great vid and agree with most of your picks! :-)

I think when doing lists like these you should judge the figure itself rather than the character. If you have to say “this isn’t a bad figure” in the top ten worst figures it probably doesn’t belong on the list.

@@kaspies8150 The hip joint comes out of the crotch at an angle (making an upside down Y) instead of being perpendicular to the waist like a T joint. It makes it to where the legs spread when you swivel the joint.

They keep making new figures with y joints and I don’t know why. The t joints are perfect. Also the new single jointed knees and elbows have me worried. The new dagobah Luke scares me.

What’s good about the original Vader is that you can take the helmet off and recreate the scene where Luke takes the mask off so Anakin can see him before he dies. I love that scene in ROTJ and just for that, I’m keeping that figure. Helmet on though, yeah. Sad eyes Vader is really bad.

love the list, the only thing I disagree with is the Yavin Luke. for me it has the best likeness to Luke out of all the Luke releases. as well serves as the Luke (Legends) version too bad it doesnt come with a lightsaber

I had a worker at GameStop tell me I should really pick up the zuvio figure cause everyone is going to be after him cause he wasn’t actually in the movie. Yeah glad I waited and paid like 2 bucks for him when I did.

Any of the unhelmeted, humanoid pre-photoreal figures... I know that's a broad swath but it's crazy just how a little dot-matrixing can work wonders. Also the TFA Stormtrooper, that's a big elb-no!

Pretty spot on list. If you're a lose collector, like I am, the blue line Palpatine actually displays very nicely. He looks terrible in the box, but once out of it, the soft goods cloak really takes away from the prune face look on the head sculpt.

I’m not saying that the Second Sister should be on your list, but I despise her for some reason. The character, in general, is great but she will not stand up normally, and her ankle joints get caught all the time. I’ve tried multiple ways to fix her but I just can’t.

I normally just collect movie Marvel Legends but recently got into collecting Black Series. I have to admit I feel I have come in on a good time because some of the face sculptings on earlier ones is pretty bad and generic bud the new ones are pretty awesome!

He has gone on explaining that his pronunciation of names is solely because of where he grew up whether it be saying Pulpatine or Count Doku. It is a unique pronunciation of their names to say the least.

Good list. I don’t think of Jedi Luke figure as being redone. One is his costume when he faces Jabba and one is the costume when he faces Vader/Emperor

What about Jyn & Cassian? The only reason I picked up Jyn was because I found her on the cheap at Five Below. I'm waiting for the Disney + series before I pick up a TBS Cassian Andor. Looking forward to the photo real. Also, the Rey with BB-8 is pretty dreadful, too. Her TROS though was pretty spot on. (And on one final note, I think the original Bespin Luke deserves some cringeworthy award, too.)

Jannah from the Rise of Skywalker is still the only black series figure I’ve bought new in box from a retailer for under $5. I got her on Gamestop shipped for $3.74. Gotten a few other figures for under $10 but nothing as cheap as Jannah.

That Poe Dameron figure looks a lot like those Warhammer 40K minis That have a crap ton of thick paint on them, & then, to make it worse, the painters go & gob giant eyes with enormous pupils on them! Also, I legit got a 6" constable Zuvio figure, on markdown at Walmart, for $0.03! 3 freaking cents! Which was cool, not because I wanted one, but just because it started out with a $20.00 price tag. Plus I hear he's been spotted on the mandalorian show, too.

An issue i have with the black series is that because star wars has less content that people would pay for and thus less characters, Unlilke marvel legends where people are willing to buy comic and movie figures, the star wars comics are niche and most fans do not care too much about comic designs and figures, So a good chunk of star wars content is unsellable as a figure. Here the black series has an issue where they either make kinda obscure characters that don't sell or they make the same bunch of characters

I actually think the Guavian Enforcer is an underrated figure. The problem with TLJ Poe is that because he has a generic face/doesn't look like the actor and his outfit is basically pants, shirt and a jacket he looks like he could be from any toyline. If he wasn't in a Star Wars box you wouldn't know who he's supposed to be.

The worst for me is A New Hope Leia . She looks good in the 40th package good I agree . But that cloth gown is the worst. The ways it feels the texture . It sucks on Luke too but not as bad because it’s shorter and I guess my second is the Force Awakens Chewbacca the figure is ok but it’s the paint job just seems way to light and kinda messy . The other Chewbacca’s all look better

Yeah I agree some of these are crap, I only have a couple of these Darth Vader an Slave Liea. Although many of the Disney Star Wars human characters are all terrible. Especially Rose an that dolly in the purple dress.

Nothing is worse than that first black series Rey that came out in 2015. BB-8 was okay, but the Rey looks like a dollar store toy. No likeness what’s so ever.
