Infact they are really good and put in effort. And the only thing that I feel like that held the prequels back was the scripts at some points. If you look back at the bloopers and deleted scenes the interactions and dialogue were better than the final cut. The sequel trilogy however had god awful plot, treated past characters and currents characters like crap and just ditched a lot of characters that had potential. Terrible choreography that led to lack luster and boring battles. However if you still like the sequel trilogy, that's your opinion that you are entitled to and that's ok. @iuvenis animo yeah, a lot of lost potential due to the fact that they didn't really plan the trilogy out as a whole, cohesive narrative from the beginning. The current Star Wars films are what you get when you have studios who are more worried about reacting to fans' demands and over correcting each film based on those criticism as opposed to people with a genuine passion to just tell an original, engaging story. They're not necessarily "bad" IMO, certainly not the disasters people try to make them out to be. But they're certainly not as great as they could have been with a central creative vision at the heart of the films. And Star Wars deserves better than the film-by-committee treatment.

I just can't wrap my mind around how the writers thought that line was so genius that the audience has to hear it three times! 😂 Let alone consider including it in the dialog at all! Isn't it supposed to be "show not tell" rather than "show'n'tell"?

I used to like Oscar Isaac after see him in a few roles like Drive and Star Wars made me really not care for him at all. But knowing he thought his lines were garbage and that he tried to change the direction of his character made me like him all over again.

@@DngrDan he was fantastic in ex-machina. Looking forward to seeing him in Dune and Moon Knight. Hopefully they'll actually put his talent to good use

@@DngrDan I admire that he is someone that tells it as it is. Hearing all the praise he gives to Dune after being wasted in another space fantasy saga and Moon Knight after being screwed in another Disney franchise and another Marvel franchise makes me believe that they will be great
