@ShadowQ-de2mn3 жыл бұрын
Well you shouldn’t, because the designs for Padme’s clothes were All STOLEN and copied off of Ancient Mongolian Cultural clothes. It’s honest,y disgusting that they would blatantly steal the design of Mongolian cultural clothes then claim it to be theirs. If you want more information on this topic watch Sherliza Moé’s videos on it, it’s really eye opening
@schmebulock45673 жыл бұрын
UnicornLover1563 Padmés clothes were inspired by several cultures, not just ancient Mongolian. The designers never claimed to have created them out of nothing. It's said in this video here that they took inspiration from different places of the world. The book "Dressing A Galaxy" also makes this very clear. And during the "Star Wars and the Power of Costume" exhibiton they even had old photos of women wearing the mongolian clothes that the costume was based on. Sherliza Moés video about this issue might be good for information about mongolian culture but when she talks about the costume designers of the Prequels she's just misleading. She doesn't mention that they said where their inspiration came from and instead makes it look like they were trying to hide it. She just makes the designers the bad guys because having an "enemy" and attacking them is an easy way to make people side with you and generate clicks. That way of dealing with an issue doesn't make people actually care about it. It only makes them be angry at someone and look down on them, in order to feel like the better human being. That's not eye opening, it's just the old "we against them" game.

That Mongolian girl's video really falls apart once you take a look at the actual documentary and see things in context. They mention Mongolian influences at 2:15 and out of every costume in Padme's expansive wardrobe, there was really only one that looked overtly Mongolian (3:01 this one). In the case of that specific costume, I do agree that it wasn't particularly original, but her criticisms were exaggerated and took quotes out of context.

Use your brain. They're clone troopers, that means they're the same height, body type, etc. You can't get hundreds of extras like that and you can't them moving like soldiers in the armour. If you want to critique these films then that's not really a strong point
@Verithiell8 жыл бұрын
+Atlaser you can get enough to make i work. It's a real shame no real clone trooper costume was made for the movie. There is really no justification for that.
@Verithiell8 жыл бұрын
+Ira ProV waht a fucking terrible argument mate. Yeah, fans probably know better. Because it has been done in previous movies, you know? So it is knowledge based on facts. With almost unlimited budget finding people of the same body type and height isnt a problem at all, especially that you have armor covering their body anyway, so there is huuuge tolerance. Plus they are rarely lined up standing perfectly still next to each other, so miniscule differences in height wouldnt be a problem.

@christopherdeleon20955 жыл бұрын
@@yugiyami8642 nah I agree with most of what they are saying. I even remember being disappointed as a kid that the clones we're cg because the storm troopers weren't, but it also makes sense in some ways. Animating all of the clone let them create very complex and big scale battle sequences. The ones in the OT where pretty big, but never as complex.

It's not a mess at all, The Jedi are sent to Naboo as a pretex to cause conflict. Palpatine sent them there to start conflix, the intent was the for the trade federation to exucute them when they arrived to cause an immidiate breach between them and naboo who knew the embassaders were on their way the murder of two jedi would cause queen amidala to side with the idea that there needs to be a war or some kinda pretex with the trade federation, due to the escape of Obi Wan and Qui Gon caused planned B the inside guy, Jar Jar Binks. Jar Jar is in collaboration with Palpatine, Maul is the pawn. Jar Jar sabotages the ship to make them land on tatooine, he sends a transmission to Palpatine thus Darth Maul is sent to kill the Jedi, kidnap Anakin, and the queen. Jar Jar is the only character who knows Padme is the queen. The gungans agree to help fight off the droids, Jar Jar manipulated Boss Nass to promote him to general using the force, Jar Jar is the phantom menace. Anakin destorys the droid ship ( a parallel to Luke destroying the death star) the Jedi fight the pawn Darth Maul, Qui Gon dies, and Obi Wan promises to train Anakin.
