The thing I liked is that R2 belongs to Padma and Anakin built C-3PO which means that Luke and Leia indirectly inherited their parents droids

Also, they exchanged each other's droids. Padme gave Anakin his R2 which would be his legendary companion and friend, while Anakin gave C3PO to Padme as a wedding gift.

Emma We give kudos to Jake Lloyd, who played Anakin when he was a child because Jake quit acting in 2001 after he was bullied in school and unable to handle fame. Later years, Jake diagnosed with mental issues. I wished that he was able to attend Star Wars Celebrations with other well-known actors, who were in iconic movie franchise.

Regarding Yoda, he's old and wise yes but he's also simply following the Jedi code. Anakin didn't grow up training in temple like these serene, high and mighty Jedi are supposed to, he grew up a slave on a harsh and dangerous desert world ruled by a giant mafioso slug.

Would definitely be interested if Emma liked "The Duel Of The Fates" which is the piece of music playing during the lightsaber duel between Qui Gon and Obi Wan against Darth Maul. Star Wars has a lot of great music but that's probably my favourite piece of music from the entire franchise.

Hi Emma, great reactions. Just a note of interest, for those of us ( old folk) who saw each of these as they were released , there was a 16 year gap between episode 6 and episode 1 ! Its was a long wait.

If I have ONE compliment about JarJar, it's that he makes great comic relief. Qui-Gon is definitely one of my favorite members of the Jedi Order, along with Yoda and Mace Windu. Also, the Podrace spectator isn't the only Star Wars character that Warwick Davis has played. He was also Wicket the Ewok in Return Of The Jedi.

I've watched a lot of reaction videos of this Episode. It's always consistent that women easily recognize the difference between Padme and Sabe even with full hair and make up on, while men never had a clue before the reveal😅

It only took a month for the negative backlash against Jar Jar Binks to start in 1999. The Matrix was released in March. Some Asian-American girl complained to MAD Magazine that "The Phantom Menace sucked"! ILM gave a 1920's-look to the Naboo fighter planes.

Weird Al hadn't actually seen the movie when he wrote that song. He pieced the story together just from the trailers, and various leaked information on the Internet. He then sent the demo track to Lucasfilm for their approval, and they told him he had gotten 95% of the plot exactly right. He then changed some of the lyrics (based on information Lucasfilm provided to him) to make the song more accurate.

The thing with Jar Jar is audiences hated him. However there is speculation he was supposed to be revealed as an agent of evil using his clumsiness as a cover. It would tie in nicely with the next film if that had been true.

I really loved this reaction! I’m really excited to see your reaction to the next films! I know it’s hard to believe how could Anakin become Darth Vader. It’s really heartbreaking that Qui-Gon was killed, because to me he was the Jedi master Anakin needed more because he’s would’ve been the father figure he also needed. Obi-Wan was more like an older brother figure to Anakin. If you loved Liam Neeson, I highly recommend his films: Christian Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Taken trilogy, and The Chronicles of Narnia trilogy. 🌌🛸⚔️💚💙🤎❤️🖤
