School of Saberfighting is one of the first teams in the world that specialises in public performance of duels inspired by Star Wars, and also provides training for those who wish to learn this form of stage fencing.
Many of our trainees have won the highest stage fencing athletic titles in various Russian championships, and acted in fencing combat scenes in theatre and films. They also collaborated with a Combat Choreographer from Hollywood, and performed during the World Fencing Championship 2015.

They really get into some great character work near the end. Anakin charging, aggressive, looking for killing blows. Obi Wan focussed on deflection and position. Top notch.

Form V, Djem So (alternatively referred to as Shien) is by far the most aggressive of the seven forms. And that’s what Anakin was all about. Meanwhile, Form VI, Niman, minimized actual movement, waiting for their opponent to slip up and create an opening. Obi-Wan specialized in this. Form II, Makashi, was all about graceful, elaborate movements to throw the opponent off balance. So, in a way, I guess you’re both right. However, Blaze…I advise against being so aggressive.

The revenge of the sith duel is the best duel I have probably ever seen.. I have seen loads in fan lightsaber duels but not any of them in my opinion are better then obi wan v anikan in revenge of the sith

GamingLodgicZ yeah that one is the best in the entire franchise in terms of technique, yet in some parts it doesn’t look realistic and looks very choreographed. Ik all battles were choreographed but they are supposed to look real on screen. The fighting in this video look far more realistic than any battle in the movies and yes there are part where it looks super fake yet you have that 95% that looks pretty realistic compared to the movies.

Elemental Jedi true.. but in my point of view the duelling in itself didn’t have any faults.. but the part where they did hand to hand combat and the part where they are swinging around did look choreographed and a bit pointless.. I didn’t say that there wasn’t any faults.. just that in my opinion it’s the best (duel) I’ve ever seen xD I do agree with what your saying though

Levi Doyle kit fisto practiced form 1 obi wan practiced form 3 yoda form 4 anakin form 5 alaya secura used form 6 and mace windu used form 7. Form 2 was the least popular and almost died out from use in the jedi temple save for Jedi Master Dooku before he left the jedi and then fell to the darkness but still kept his same fighting form 2

Unfortunately, even if you're excellent at saber combat, un-choreographed duels look incredibly lame with a lot of moments where the blades don't connect or one or the other ends up making contact early in the duel.

I like how you have got epee fencers, then guys with sabres and sideswords, and then the star wars dudes show up. The anakin skywalker and young obiwan actually look like they were replicating some moves from the big fight at the end of the prequels. Awesome. But kids watching, remember, don't try spinning in a real fight you will get stabbed in the back... Although the in-universe explanation that excuses that in the films is, of course, the force! :) Awesome to see this thank you!

Stair wars demonstratioooon This was a fantastic recreation of the Anakin V Obi-wan duel with the addiction of another choreographed duel, which I thought was better than the Anakin V Obi-wan duel! Great form, no effects, no baby taps and COSTUMES! FINALLY! If it weren’t for those random unnecessary spins, I would put it at a solid-as-steel 10, but I must slap it as a 9 out of 10, this was an amazing show, loved every second! Even the pirates of the Caribbean music and fencing 🥰

oh i enjoyed all of it. but i enjoyed the sidesworders and military sabreuers the most. historical fencing is just the absolute best.

@@1spaneec924 И где же они были утеряны? Люк был обучен Йодой и Оби-Ваном и даже сражался с Вейдером на равных. Уж он то мог обучить Кайло Рена мастерству. Новый мастер Кайло Рена лорд Сноук якобы существовал ещё во времена республики. И у Ситов, и у джедаев тогда с фехтованием было всё в порядке. Так что эта отмазка хуйня полная. И битвы в 7-8 эпизодах поставлены просто убого, даже в сравнении с 4-6 эпизодами.

Ух, братцы, это восторг! Сам много лет занимался историческим фехтованием, но такого класса постановочные бои в жизни не видал! Прекрасная хореография. Да, фехтовальщику заметно, где вы чуточку лаж... сделали не так, как на репетиции, ну так и дубль-то у вас лишь один. Глядел, получал ни с чем несравнимое удовольствие. Силовые моменты с акробатикой делать не стали совершенно верно - одно дело в доспехе и поддоспешнике сделать перекид и вдарится спиной о деревянную сцену, другое дело без всего этого об камень. Нет, я восхищен однозначно.

Татьяна Мосягина у Оби-Вана стиль защиты. Он защищаетсяи ищет слабости противника. В то время как у Энакина агрессивный вид.

совершенно согласна. Стиль Оби-Вана сдержанее. Он изматывает противника, сам стоя в глухой обороне, потом одним ударом побеждает, особо при этом не успев устать.

София Ларина он тоже сильно устает, особенно напрягается его мозг, чтоб противостоять быстрым атакам Энакина, нужна постоянная концентрация. А меньше всего сил тратит стиль, которым пользовался Кит Фисто, но он самый простой
