I agree - These make a better movie than the Movies ! Disney really messed it up.

I always thought that, putting humans in the parts of these larger then life characters is a folly, like the head Inquisitor in Obi Wan looks like such a let down, though I think Obi Wan might turn out great but the real Star Wars is depicted in CGI like this in it's most potent form, totally unhinged, I love that.

The sequels would have sucked even without 'wokeness' - woke shit and normal shit are both just shit. @Kristopher Prime Not the fault of "wokeness" though is it? A fault of hack writers and industry practices. It's like Blizzard using an algorithm to design Overwatch characters. Soulless pandering and it comes across as such. "Woke" shit absolutely can work if you do it well (Sense8), they usually just don't it well. And it shouldn't be inserted in absolutely everything without thought. But I guess it's also a fault of the medium. Movies just don't have enough runtime to develop interesting and fleshed out characters like books or even TV shows can. I'd argue that the 9/10 woke things that are crap would be crap even without the woke parts.

This is likely the single most poignant statement I've ever seen, read, or heard regarding the entire Star Wars universe. It sorta ties in with the Living Force, not the stupid "Light Side/Dark Side" crap. And it is why Asajj Ventress and Ahsoka Tano remain so relevant in storytelling. Almost everybody else is just...
