The problem with that is the more content you bring, the slower the story will be and viewers will start to doze away and get sleepy

I don't know man,Ive done stage work,set building stuff. It's way more costly than most people realize. Each room you see probably cost a couple hundred thousand. Each lightsaber at least a grand those speeders are likely close to a halfa mil.. than you have actors pay, cgi effects,stage crew ,stunt crew, make up artists, costum designers, ballistics, food for all these people...and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

@@couchslouch3540 @lilac-and-Gooseberries I would also add, going On Location and building sets and setting up, is al FAR more costly than people realize. I hear people compare the budget of this show to House of Dragons, and I would also say, that when they build those sets ( HOD ) they build them out more and bigger because they know they are using them for multiple seasons. This is only for one season, so the cost breakdown is slightly different.

@@boromir2099 HBO pays a lot upfront cost associated with Pre-production, and then spreads the cost out over several seasons when factored into the per episode cost. I agree that Lucas Film did not use the budget for this show well at all. Andor's budget, was only slightly more, but it was USED more efficiently. I would give anything to have both longer episodes, and more of them. I am hoping that Lucas Film and Disney learn that lesson from this.

I don't think they're trying to undo the lore. This criticism isn't valid until after the season. We don't know how they're going to end it. The only actual change so far is ki-adi-mundi's species living a long time.

A Jedi Knight isnt strong enough to force pull two tiny girls before they both fall. Sol stabs Aniseya when she is dust and she immediately rematerializes. Osha and Mae lessen Anakins importance. Indara says to the witches they cannot deny the Jedis right to test the girls. But then contradicts herself immediately after and says "with your permission of course". If it is a right then why do you need permission? She also told Sol she will go in alone so they dont appear as a threat, but then immediately changes her mind and says ok we all go. If you all go you appear as a threat? Why didnt they just knock on the door? Why is Sol so enamoured with Osha? Then she fails as a Jedi Padawan. Sol is a Knight yet is falling to his emotions too much in his pursuit to "rescue" Osha. Who he hasnt even met yet. Torbin is an emotional wreck. Trinity is the only one who is calm and in control. Kelnacca would have been in control but the witches were able to enter him. The witches could have just entered Seoul and Torbin instead. Obviously, I think the writing is just horrible. I dont like this show. Its been established that you can scan planets and find structures or energy or whatever. Why didnt the Jedi scan the planet and know there was a major fucking structure on the planet and not even that far from where they landed.

They didn't have to flesh out the characters because almost all the ones that were introduced were killed off that went looking for Mae or Mae looking for them.

@@MidwestMiniatureGuy Jecki and Yord’s deaths would’ve hit so much harder, had we been able to connect to them. Dafne Keen was able to add some charisma to Jecki, but Yord remained one-dimensional. Osha isn’t presented with any depth we’ve heard about her struggling as a Padawan but we’ve never had any flashbacks to understand what she went through exactly even though she’s attached to Sol. Seeing something is so much more impactful than just hearing about something.

Me too, but the toxic fans are determined to see it buried. My hope is Lucasfilm ignores these entitled brats and keeps pushing forward allowing Leslye to tell her story. It's a good story. Lucasfilm as a whole needs to figure out how to budget better, but if Andor gets to finish their story, Acolyte should, too.

I agree completely. To make a bold, inaccurate statement saying the fans are not watching is totally untrue. The story, acting, writing, and direction are all very good. The cinematography is beautiful, and the choreography is killing it. Yes, there are some parts where the dialogue is a bit wonky, and at some points, the action/story should have been more for character development. Other than that, the show is great. I'm with the critics positive, strong viewership. 84%!! It's not the best show but it is a very, very good show. I do hope that a 2nd season is approved with or without a stand-alone ending of season one. I can not wait for the finale. This one viewer and true Star Wars fan from the very beginning, - (being 12 years old in 1977 when the first movie originally was released), - will be watching!!! 👍
