His lightsaber is unique, but not his style. He uses a hybridized version of Juyo and Djem So. But hybridizing styles was common in the New Jedi Order as Luke introduced it to "modernize" lightsaber combat and make it more unpredictable to the Imperial Remnants.

Yes there is also a mod for jk academy that you can walk with dessan in single player and have his sword.

@@vetarlittorf1807 His heavy style is unique. No one but Desann fights with this animation. Its heavy animation is equivalent to the quick style animations, while it deals damage like a full heavy. So his style is really unique and we are talking about the game, no need to go into Lore.

He didn’t even know what Djem so WAS. Nobody really did until the 7 classic forms were fully rediscovered in 24ABY. Luke didn’t have actual training in Djem so; only Shii Cho and Ataru from Kenobi & Yoda respectively. He mirrored his father’s Djem So technique against him, but that’s it. His own form ended up being a hybrid between forms 3/4/5. And the strong/medium/fast styles…. Desann utilized strong style, and just used a one-handed grip a lot of the time. That’s it. He had no clue what Djem so even was. He did not have nearly advanced enough bladework to be Djem so; which is different from Strong style to begin with. All 3 NJO forms are watered down versions not nearly as good as the 7 classic forms. They were crafted by Luke & Kyle because they wanted to have options to train their students in instead just training all of them in the “3 Rings” Kam Solusar crafted earlier. So they made the strong/medium/fast styles. But once the 7 classic forms were rediscovered just before the Vong war, most Jedi went into mastering those. Only some Jedi continued utilizing the 3 NJO styles. Like Jaden Korr & Jaina with medium, Corran & Mara with fast, Kyle with strong, etc. That’s about it. And they all still mastered classic forms as well. Mara & Corran 4, Kyle 1, 4, & 5, etc…. The point is, they’re superior to the 3 NJO forms in every way.

well yea, bespin was a super early outcast saber map while tavion was the final end boss for academy so by then you'd be fully powered :)

hm you seem to be very obsessed with saber thiccness uwu actually we learned and confirmed long ago that the saber has nothing to do with the damage, the reason desann had more power is the secret 4th saber style only he had which you can unlock with cheats.. evidence? for one you can play as desann in both with the console commands and wont be doing any better than default until you switch to the secret stance

I still remember the secret way you could defeat Desaan without fighting him. Discovered it by accident but felt too "deliberate" to be just a bug/glitch with how you can crush Desann via one of the four pillars around the arena. Even more so since they have destruction physis, meaning they were made to be destroyed. Tavion, I always just found it fun to hop onto the top of the shuttle and push her so far into the air she would trigger the death-Pitt animation and be defeated that way. :3 That said, they are a lot more fun to beat legit than using an exploit on one and a "side method" for the other.

You can also activate the beam in the center of the arena which gives you temporary invincibility...if having that easier way of taking out Desann is not enough. :P

Also, you can shoot in the red thing on Fyer's neck and he will not being able to use the shields anymore. But c'mon! Who uses the blasters when you can just cut off his neck with lightsaber?

@@calvinsFuntimeBounceHouseI was able after 100 tries to pull her off the ledge. I also learn a form of jumping and sometimes she will be pulled and if she lands in the low edge part of the arena , she dies of fall damage . Men as a kid I just pvp her 1000 times , was my favorite fight .

i play both academy and outcast on master and it adds such a huge element i never knew.. actually having to take cover to avoid dying to blaster shots and using strategy to plan attacks :) pc only

Probably late, but yeah you can do that but you gotta time it exactly right or get really lucky. One time he was standing in the corner and he kept shooting force lightning at me I kept avoiding it but the pillar couldn't take it and it fell on him and crushed him😂

ah yes the old "update" that ruined star wars galaxies.. man you musta been on it a ton because there was no jedi path in public knowledge.. people had to use crazy amounts of research to figure out how to get it, i watched a 15 min video on the insane steps needed.. when i came to galaxies it was empty and just had a few korean bots trying to shill websites on auto spam.. shame..

i really liked him alot.. i even would root for him if there was some way to win or be that.. the game railroads people into being jedi tho :) still the number one game on pc of all time :) love it

The first Reborn was a miniboss I guess. He's scripted to resist all controlling effects like Push and Pull so you can't even cheese him when he's using the vents to cross the gap to you
