As the recapitulation commences and the main theme modulates to G major, my ears were taken by surprise, as that part must seem very challenging to play in time, while simultaneously having to back the orchestra up (at least such was my initial impression). "Star Wars" could also have inspired The Maestro's 1985 "Concerto for Tuba & Orchestra".
