Hey Park Hoppers! In today's adventure we headed to Disneyland for Star Wars Nite, which is a returning After Dark event. We went to last years event and had so much fun that we had to go back this year too! We ran into some issues with the weather, but overall we still had a great time at the event. We saw some characters, tried some new foods and just overall enjoyed a night celebrating one of our favorite movie universes!

The Resistance Needs You
This May, Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite will grant Guests of all ages special after-hours access to Disneyland Park with the purchase of a separate event admission ticket. Enjoy Star Wars Character sightings, event-themed menu selections and exciting entertainment-including March of the First Order featuring Captain Phasma. Plus, discover special Star Wars-themed photo opportunities, merchandise and more!
Availability is limited-don’t miss this opportunity to be immersed in a Star Wars experience you’ll never forget!

Early Admission
Enjoy admission to Disneyland Park beginning at 6:00 PM; no theme park reservation required.
Star Wars: Celebrate the Nite Fireworks Show
Get immersed in your own Star Wars Adventure-listen to iconic music from the films as you watch an amazing pyrotechnical spectacle illuminate the skies above Sleeping Beauty Castle!
Character Experiences
Enjoy sightings of beloved Star Wars Characters throughout the evening.
Galactic Dance Party
Dance the night away at an epic event sure to make Star Wars history!
Strike a Pose
Let Disney PhotoPass photographers capture shots-and incredible memories-against event-themed backdrops.
After-Hours Access to Attractions
Ride some of the park’s most unforgettable Star Wars-themed attractions-including Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (subject to availability, which may vary and is not guaranteed) throughout the event, usually with shorter wait times.
Themed Eats
Gobble goodies that are out of this galaxy-or purchase a unique dining experience featuring classic New Orleans cuisine at Cafe Orleans.
Themed Merchandise
Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase Star Wars-themed items, while supplies last.
Event Keepsakes
Receive a commemorative credential and guide map as well as unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during the party. (Credentials and maps are limited to one per ticketed person.)
Scan the QR code on your event wristband into the Disneyland app to access Disney PhotoPass digital photos captured during the event. Photos can be downloaded from your Disney account as often as desired, up to 45 days after initial capture. Disney PhotoPass service is subject to the Disney PhotoPass terms and conditions and the Disney PhotoPass expiration policy. Online registration required. Disney PhotoPass photos must be linked to your Disney account to be downloaded.
Inspired Attire
Proclaim your allegiance to the light side or dark side of the Force! Dress up as your favorite Star Wars character. (See Costume Guidelines below.)

I’m so glad you were able to avoid too much rain until near the end of the party. On my weather app, it was supposed to rain the entire day. I went on May the 2nd. It was my first Star Wars Nite. I had a great time, but there was a lot I missed too. I was wishing I had a lightsaber too. 😄 Oh well. Still had a great time. I also got to ride the rides that are super busy during regular hours. Smugglers Run had a single line, and Hyperspace Mountain had a single rider line too. Some of the treats I couldn’t find, but it was just as well, because you guys didn’t like them anyway. I didn’t realize Star Wars was being celebrated for all of May. Anyhoo, always a pleasure to see you two, livin it up. It makes me excited and looking forward to when I go!

Aww thanks, we have so much fun filming our adventures! It’s so hard to see everything at these events though, so you just gotta pick the things that mean the most to you

The event looked fun but I know due to the weather it made the experience different that night. It sucks that you kinda of have to pick and choose what to do because of how short the event is. I'm definitely gonna go next year.

Yea the weather def put a damper on it. The events are def short, wish you had another hour or 2 but they’re still fun! You should def go next year!

We skipped it this year to try and see more characters - which then didn’t come out cause of the rain 😂 😢 - we did the lightsaber meetup last year though and it was amazing!
