Yayyyy the day I've been waiting for finally came--STAR WARS NITE! I was so, so excited for this Disneyland After Hours event to take place and it was so fun, so come along with me and see how the night went!
I arrived at Disneyland early to check-in for Star Wars After Hours and I recommend you do as well because checking in took me a little over an hour to complete. I looked over the event guide and knew exactly what I wanted to do, but there's so little time so I knew I couldn't get to everything. I did see the line forming at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities and even though we didn't know what lightsaber hilt would drop for this event and Star Wars Day on May 4th, I thought they might be the Ahsoka Tano saber hilts that were announced to be released on ShopDisney on May 4th. Instead we got the Reforged Asajj Ventress hilt that night.
I started off with a character meet and greet and it was a great one! I met Ewoks and it was so adorable and silly and I loved every second of it! Well worth the wait (I got in line about 30 minutes before the event started). I love After Hour events that have special fireworks, and the Star Wars fireworks did not disappoint! I was able to get a Blue Cream Soda (because the special food offerings are some of the best parts of these Disneyland After Hours events!) and went over to Tomorrowland to try it. Captain Phasma led the First Order March and she along with some First Order Stormtroopers marched past right as I was about to try my drink. The Blue Cream Soda from Refreshment Corner was fantastic by the way.
I was able to see C3PO walking by when he was exiting the meet and greet his character had with R2D2. I also took my picture in front of the Mythosaur Skull Photo Op and I saw the TIE Fighter and Jakku Photo Ops. I then went to Galaxy's Edge to try the Star Wars Nite Food Offerings they had at Docking Bay 7. I tried to take a look at some of the Star Wars Nite merch but they had cut off the line earlier in the night because it was too long! I walked past the Darth Vader and Darth Maul Character Meet and Greet and decided I should try one last Star Wars Nite food offering which were the Dagobah Bites, Yoda-shaped Beignets! They were so good and such a nice note to leave the event on!
I hope you had fun coming along with me, thank you for watching!! xo Lisa
