There is an underground 'path' that has been smuggling jedi for a while... Can we assume 10 years? Anyway we know that their are at least 7 former jedi that have survived the jedi purge and there are countless force sensitives. Kenobi told other jedi to Bury their light sabers.. But then says luke's needs to be trained. Why? Why does luke need to become a jedi what about the other jedi on the run? Couldn't they round up all of these force sensitives and create a secret jedi school? I'm sure a 100 jedi could take out all the inquisitors, vader and the emporer! When kenobi let vader go... Why did the need luke to be trained to defeat him when he did it himself... Just to let him go on and commit more attorsities!

The problem with Disneys portrayal of the force is it only ever works to suit the storyline. For example 3rd sister was only an inquisitor because of her rare ability to read minds... she asks uncle Owen if he knows where Kenobi is and gets nothing from him. Now thats a man with absolutely no force powers at all but conveniently her powers don't exist for that scene! OK I'll give it you that Obi Wan throwing the rocks at Vader was super freaking awesome and thats how it should be but consistency is important. Some people out there, myself included do have genuinely good reasons for criticising how Disney does portray the force. They have a complete lack of continuity with it. Vader with the fire scene is another example. Kenobi escaped because the fire was ignited once again and it stopped Vader in his tracks despite the fact he literally put the same fire out with the force only minutes earlier. Don't get me wrong I liked Kenobi overall but it had some real faults.

I never did understand why people had issue with Obi Wan because it is clear Disney has learned a hard lesson from the fiasco that is the Star Wars sequels, that many like me no longer consider canon. Obi Wan was sufficiently rustic, and if there are any inconsistencies in how the force is used, it is simply script oversight like MOST films have, and ALL Starwars has ever had. Like why have we seen the emporer jump high distances like any force user, yet, when Darth Vadar threw him off, he went down like a bitch. Just raised his hand and called it. Or why simply chopping off Darth Vadar's hand in combat, a mostly robot, I'd remind you, led to him dying in the end? He wasnt stabbed or slashed. We accept these because we didnt have Star Wars before. It established those rules, so it had the grace period to break it. We've had SO muvh Star Wars since, so now we hold every new entry, especially those of beloved characters to impossible ideals. In the end, they are still films, series. Written by humans.

One scene vader puts out fire, then can't do it again and obi wan escapes. Obi wan can't move a screw, then 10 minutes later he can hold off an ocean. Obi Wan defeats 7 stormtroopers at the laser fence each has unique positions but surrendered to 3 newly-arrived stormtroopers without a fight 5 seconds later. So, you Cuntnobi fanboys should really grow a brain. Why don't you support the reva lightsaber funding instead. I heard it was a shameful failure.

@@gill2069 In a New Hope, watch how Obi says he never owned any droids. (He didn't own R2 or C-3PO.) He has shifty eyes like he recognized them. Remember only R2 would remember Obi as the Protocol droid had his memory wiped.

The first season didn't even have an impact on Obi Wan! He is exactly the same as he was at the end of Episode 3: charismatic and strong with the force, willing to start learning about force ghosting and commune with qui gon, looking after luke, defeated vader and lets him live,... There's zero character building in him. It's basically a series about leia and the third sister.

@@The_Bad_Guy. the empire knows about Kenobi, they know about Organa's connection to him. That makes the Organa's traitors and would be executed as such. Kenobi would be hunted down and executed. Owen and Beru would be investigated and most likely executed as traitors for their part in hiding Anakin's children. Luke and Leia would be made wards of the state and on DNA testing would be confirmed to be Vader's children and either executed by order of the Emperor or raised as dark side users. By the way, Obi-wan not killing Vader in "The Rematch Of The Century" makes him complicit in the death and oppression of billions. Everything this show did destroys the universe. But you can like it if you want.

I don't think there's going to be another season. They seemed to have wrapped things up pretty well and if they were to add more, I feel it would end up just making it a bit too long-winded and unnecessary.
