How else could they do A 5.5 Star Wars movie? On second thought, THEY SHOULD DO THIS! Use the kid from MANDALORIAN for Luke. Than they would just need Morrison, Glover and A Leia look - a - like. If Disney had A Brain in their head, it would put A Huge arm shot back into Star Wars cinema.

What's significant is that Leia and the primary antagonist have so much in common: both are former royals who's home planets and former lives were destroyed by darth vader. They seek vindication in different ways; she through leadership in the rebellion, he through manipulation in order to gain imperial favor. It's dramatic irony once Vader's son destroys Xizor's second home who does he meet above Corescant???

could they add in pod racing and a asteroid smuggling section? where you have to evade a imperial picket patrol in dash rendars ship or the falcon depending on which story arc your in, and you have to save the cargo, the people, and the ship which has illicit tech? they could even have a amazing scene of game sections where you have to slice into a computer terminal using ig 88 or one of his companions, and then infiltrate the death star II project while simultaniously using the intrusion to send data to other IG88s who in turn will send important data to the rebellion through leia, who you then have to get to her by using bothans again as well as the IG88 that escorts them through a nightmare melange of aliens, droids, and imperial hooligans on a forbiden training world where black ops troopers are trained and was the only place they could use to communicate with the death star two central computer. which leads to the bothans trying to get to Leia, and you play as Leia after they arrive at the rendevous, but then Leia gets intercepted and you have to fight off storm troopers and spend three levels that ends with you fighting the black sun pirates and they eventually trap you in a place where you are locked in one of thier starships you tried to steal and it backfires etc but you manage to distract the pirates so that Luke or Lando can escape and alert the rest to whats happening which leads to the attempt to figure out where the black sun pirates took her

To me Star Wars has always be more than just a fun movie series. Its an idea. To be more than what we already are. To explore the wonders beyond what we already know. To change what is. To become the best version of ourselves. And the true beauty of it is that it's never meant to be a one hero story. No single paragon of justice with all the gifts and answers (I'm looking at you Rey 😠). But a coming together of beings that come from all walks of life, some not to dissimilar to our own. Saviors, villains, moral greys. And that is how it reaches out to us. It is more than just a story. It is a call to break the bonds of stagnation, and dare to live.

I fondly remember 1996 - along with this book’s release, I was thrilled to see that all three films had been re-released with updates... there was so much marketing around this book’s release - action figures, etc... Sucks, too - most of us were really hungry for something new, and this would have been perfect!

this is well done , I have this book on audio cassette and the audio is sped up here , but that seems to be the case with the audio of this book that has been uploaded to this site in recent years as to prevent it being taken down . This is one of my favorite star wars books ever written , although , I do enjoy the new films as well and some of the new books .I feel that just as with the old stuff , there is good and bad stuff , but it is all subjective .anyway , nice choice of images as well as pans / camera moves and soft filters for the flashback sequence . Joel Mcneely's score is also well integrated here and does not overpower the dialogue . I also like the intro and the books scrolling past and the Shadows novel coming forward . Nice use of images from Rogue One there at the 29:19 minute mark btw , as well as the cover to the cannon Lando comic series as well . Also , I like the fact that George softened his stance and started to embrace the new movies , visiting the set of Rogue One , Directing a short scene in the Solo movie etc . I just bought about 20 of the 90s Bantam era EU paperbacks for 50 cents each at a library sale , first printings . Although I have seen all of the legends books on the shelves in every bookstore I have been in for the past 4 years , so I do appreciate that they are still in print and money was spent to make them available to those who wish to read them .lastly , this is a very enjoyable production you have made , I attempted this years ago before youtube was a thing , with a cassette player , the tops cards and a vhs-c camcorder but never got around to finishing it .thank you for helping me see a little bit of my own bias and that the old and the new can coexist . And though I do not agree with all of your views and feel some things may have been taken out of context , you clearly love the material and put a lot of effort into this , so you have earned a subscriber . I hope to see more projects like this one .Maybe one day we can get animated versions of these books ala the DC animated universe .I hear Mark Hamill is a great voice actor ...

Having these comic stylized scenes on top of the audio gives this entirely new depth. I had read the entire book before and I loved this entire thing. Why haven't you continued to do more of these? You could have done every book and I think this channel could have grown huge.
@davidcraddock74144 жыл бұрын
@Joshua Sharwood Still, a shame, I think he could have kept on doing these and grown the channel huge

I have no time to spend 5 to 7 hours doing this is the short answer. The long answer would be that besides that, i'm deeling with family issues, lack of imagery(all novels don't have this level of artwork, and i'm drawing none of it) So for all this, i could do just 3D. But have no time for it. I appreciate your love for the content, because it is the same as mine. But I really can't invest in this as much as I would like.

Omg painstaking commitment to finding proper pics to align with the narration. I can't imagine how long this took, but it was well worth it. Awesome.

Top Notch, that was 1 million times better than anything Disney poops out

I will never forgive Disney for taking Shadows of the Empire out of cannon. This is the best story outside the movies. And IG-88 was killed by Dash Rendar, NOT Boba Fett.

Not even close but I understand what you mean. Honestly prison wine or pruno is usually made for only a handful of people and if you're locked down good luck trying to pass it to anyone who wants to buy it, the price varies depending on what went into it and how difficult it was to keep it hidden and how long. Its usually hard to get it finished before you get caught or they take away the apples you have stocked up since you aren't supposed to hold on to them for later. But some places they can get it to be a steady thing but then its shared or not very expensive for a cup.

Dude this is awesome, really takes me back to my childhood and all I knew at the time was it as a video game. I had some of the toys, and a vaguely remember the comic books, which probably 10 years ago I looked on eBay and bought the comics for this run. But really cool bro thank you for sharing this 😄🙏🏼
@helmedon2 жыл бұрын
This is (should be) the real Star Wars history. I mean, I remember reading the book and comic series back when it was first released and thinking "yes, this is what I wanted". The story of all that happened between Empire and Jedi. Introduced pivotal characters like Mara Jade, Prince Xizor and Black Sun as a major criminal syndicate. Minor players like Dash Rendar (gotta be Canon because they made toys of him and his ship the Outrider. Such a big mistake straying from the decades of EU content, history, beloved characters and intriguing story arcs created by fantastic writers and fans of the universe. All the way back to Splinter of the Minds Eye.
