Thank you for not only another video, but the last for this series! For me this last episode was better than expected. I expected a downer ending with one or more of the batch not making it (in truth I expected most of them to die), but really, really glad they all made it. Great sense of family with them from Hunter and Wrecker telling Crosshair that they will stick together as a rebuttal to Crosshair declaring the 99 died with Tech and to let him be the sacrifice. I loved your reactions to the Zillo beast, yes, huge Kaiju fan growing up and you put into words what I've thought myself about Kaiju and in this case with the Zillo beast, "Going Godzilla on them." I am surprised you didn't remark about how Omega took out the doctor with the droid, but then again there was a lot going on and in the grand scheme of things and the escape, it wasn't a huge point. Thank you for the clip, never played the game so Scorch was just a name without any context. His and Hemlock's death by multiple blaster fire were satisfying, especially with Hemlock as I'm sure just the one shot was fatal, but they 99 just lit him up with more than one shot. It exceeded Ramparts death scene and that last look before the grenade went off. I loved the happy ending, the fade to the future (I was hoping for an epilogue and got it) and that fade from the "family portrait" of the 99 sitting together with Batcher, their job done. A fine ending of a great series. I thought season 3 was tighter than 1 or 2, less episodes that I felt I could skip and miss nothing on the rewatch, while it is still not up to watch straight through again without skipping some episodes, they are less with 3 than with 1 or 2. Although I share your points about pacing, they could have gotten to where they were going with quicker. Thanks again for this forum and sharing your reactions and thoughts.
