Thank you for the video! I agree with your anti-hero assessment, it just seems like a label to say, a "hero" who can be mean and do villain things, but isn't a villain. Anyway, going back to Ventress, it was my impression, granted based on what other fans who read the books, that this takes place after the book where she died. Probably why they included that line, "I have a few more lives left" to satisfy those who had read the books and wondered how is she alive at this time. Also, I think with Sabine in Ahsoka they are going to the anyone with training can use the force, M-count is just how easy it is to do so. I don't think Omega has a high one, but I could be wrong. I think her usefulness to the project is that she can hold a transferred M-count for the purpose of cloning. However, I keep hearing from long time fans (and I admit, I'm more in the new and casual category) that they are speculating if she is force sensitive or not, so what I think about the situation may be way off. As for the prequels, I only saw them because my friends were going to see them, it was a group thing. I remember being excited about the first one, then when the Jedi didn't even blink about slavery, it lost its magic for me. I saw the movies once, and that is about it. However, the M-count thing did not bother me, my bone was the slavery issue. This episode was a hard one to watch in the sense that I didn't like seeing the Batch getting beat up by Ventress. I am not a fan of her, but I understand she is a popular character and I do like her voice acting. The voice actress does an outstanding job and her new look with hair also helps with her growing appeal to me. So, whether this is a one off, a preview of her for a new series, or Chekhov's gun so its not out of nowhere if she appears in the climax, I certainly don't mind and it should be exiting to see. I think Omega is gunna leave and go with Ventress at the end of the series. I also have a feeling we're gunna get a new animated show with Ventress, and in that show we'll find out how she survived. I bet Voss will be in it too. I also like that Omega has a high M count, but isnt naturally force sensitive, cuz it means that medichlorian count doesnt count for everything. I overall liked the episodes. I like when Ventress was like "i have a few lives left," paying homage to all her deaths in canon & legends

I've seen ep12 before I saw this reaction video. It's feeling like TBB writers will probably end this specific squad's story BUT contninue all the rest in the next animated series. Bcoz we've seen the rebel clones starting to create a bigger movement with senators who support their cause. So obviously that movement gets bigger over time until we get to the OT. Then there's the official star wars article where Lucasfim EPs confirm we're getting more Asajj Ventress stories in upcoming projects. This pretty much confirms we'll also most likely see Fennec Shand & Cad Bane + maybe even a young adult Boba Fett. Whether it's a combination of bounty hunter + rise of clone rebellion or how mon mothma & other rebel allies start coming together, would be a good backstory that covers at least 15-20yrs before ANH. They can even give us whatever Maul was actively doing before the empire finally dismantled his underground crime world. Bcoz we only see him at the end of Solo. By the time he shows up in Rebels, he was this pathetic older Maul still trying so hard to find ways to take revenge against palpatine, and then later Obi-Wan Kenobi when Maul found out he was still alive as well. So many story possibilities, it's just a matter of lucasfilm taking advantage while disney still has production 💰💰💰 for them to spend
