They should have showed Luke's hand being cut off & it being found in flashback

Absolutely SHAMEFUL that they edited the LUKE / VADER scene out of the Flashback. Just SHAMEFUL. That would have been absolutely jaw-dropping AMAZING.

And then, in a funny way, my logic was that she's actually looking for a light saber, as opposed to the light saber looking for her. Because she _*_is_*_ eventually, I _*_believe_*_, going to become a Jedi so she needs a light saber. And erm...and then when she feels the power of it - when it shows her how powerful it is, it freaks her out and...that's when...you know:...she doesn't want any part of it any more. And so that was sort of my thinking when I...tried to design whatever those shots - I mean...originally, again, they were shots of: she goes into this- she touched the light saber, she went into this room, and then it became the room...in Cloud City - which you can still kind of see because we still kept that idea. But then she used to walk down the hall, and she saw Darth Vader and Luke fighting. And she saw Darth Vader cut Luke's hand off. And then she turned around and she saw erm....Snoke - or some version of Snoke - big version of him and a little boy. And then she- So...all those images we had didn't.....they just didn't have a logic that satisfied anyone enough.
