The story was too damn short. But imagine if the devs were given 2 years to finnish the game, it would probably even exceed the first Force Unleashed.

The force unleashed 2 was my first Xbox 360 game and while it has its issues , it still holds a special place in my heart

I picked it up for a few dollars on steam and I've been playing it, its everything I remember, the story makes no sense, but it's so fun to just be an over powered jedi with a lightsaber, cutting apart storm troopers

This game was really fun, especially in comparison to some games that followed...But I will say this game was SOOOOOO much better on the Wii. The whole gameplay is different. A lot less quick-time events, no skydiving sequence, no train sequences. Even the fight against the big monster is better. The physics i think were really cool so it made fighting hordes of troopers fun to do. I liked the Wii better, it was a better-made game. It even had a dagobah level and split-screen mode. I guess they put a lot more work on the Wii version of this game. The graphics weren’t as good on Wii tho but all the worst parts of the gameplay weren’t on Wii. Overall, in all honesty, the force unleashed 2 was good just way too short. I do see all your points, truly, but I love this game more than almost every other Star Wars game. TFU2 was awesome!! :D

The good thing about this game is how your lightsaber attacks were so fast and felt like you could shred a tank in 5 seconds. It's a huge improvement compared to the same basic four strikes from the first game that felt so unsatisfing.

Weird thing is: the Wii version of the game actually had a Dagobah level, which was ok... Lol

They shouldve made him canon, but made him like a folks tale, "He was, a clone, a god in the force, He pulled ships out of the sky, Took out the biggest monsters, and had LightSabre skills that could match Yoda, He used, Both the Jedi and dark side of the force"

I actually played the second game first and I absolutely loved it. However, when I played the first one... never touched the second game again. And then I never played the first one when I discovered a Jedi Academy mod, Movie Batlles II. It is seriously a fangame that gets fighting better than any other lightsaber combat system I have ever tried

Disney makes every Jedi so weak when they can do much more, Ray and Kylo's lightsaber fights in the movies are so boring to watch, they never use the force, they both have so many force abilities but Disney doesn't show them. I mean if Jedi Fallen order was a movie it would be better than the last three StarWars movies combine. Damn its a shame disney doesn't want to make Starkiller cannon because he has so much potential, Ray and finn are complete shit characters, kylo is cool i guess idk. If disney can't make a successful solo film on the protagonist ray then she shouldn't be the protagonist period. Thank god for the Mandalorian im done ranting

Many of the points raised in this are solid but I can’t help but feel some of the irony in hearing him complain the game tells you everything and there’s nothing to learn and then proceed to never realize that you can chain multiple grapples together or that there are hidden special lightsaber combos. He also never realizes that the terror walker has 3 attacks

I honestly do agree with everything you said in this video. Playing as a clone and not the real one feels just weird and off. Also everyone around him tries to get him to join the alliance and stuff but he doesn’t care or knows about it. The fact that he is a clone makes it more weird even the ending where he lives with Juno. Juno has her lover now as a clone with no real experiences and connection. And with the dark side he dies.. the clone who you play so many hours with with no depth dies at the end by someone else who is a clone as well and also not the real one… it’s so bad..

I remember playing through TFU in my PS2 as a kid. Absolutely fell in love with the game, I loved the Jedi Temple the most because it gave me the creeps, and it had so many different enemies and areas, it was just amazing, it also felt like a long game which gave me hours of fun everytime I was alone at my house. But then I played TFU2 and when I finished the game I was literally like: "That's... it?", I never found TFU2 to be too interesting outside of the fact that hey Galen dual wields TWO sabers now! That looks.. cool! TFU2 overall is just an emptier game in every aspect, lacking the interesting story characters enviroments and gameplay of the first game, it's all spectacle and no substance, it shows you cool things but you're never actively DOING cool things. It's just a worse game than the first one.

Why would the game waste time explaining who Juno is in the sequel? The whole point of a sequel is it doesn't need to reintroduce established characters.

My main peeve us that Koda just chills there while a clone of Galen just pulls up in full view of everyone and doesn't help him. Koda just stands there

But its on sale now for $3, you can't really complain. As a teen when it released, it was totally worth the $60

I couldn’t stop replaying TFU 1. Everyday, I’d play it for countless hours. Countless days. Countless fun. When I played through TFU 2, I liked the game, but at the ending level, I was burnt out. I liked the story played through once, but I was given little to no reason to keep playing. So I stopped after I beat TFU 2.

I will say. I really enjoyed the cutscene where Starkiller and Kota reunited in the arena. It was sweet. A shame they spent the entire rest of the game arguing the exception of the scene where you first get on the Salvation with him.

*In the cinematic section of the games menu* If Vader told the darkside clone to wait on the spire above them, and to wait for the moment to strike and to not hesitate....that means that the darkside clone was always up there watching Galen and Vader fight. So why did the clone just stand there and watch Kota, Galen, Juno and a small group of rebels take Vader away in restraints? He had so many chances to take out all three of them.

I remember being so incredibly hyped for this game when it was coming out, got it on release day and enjoyed the gameplay and story a lot but was really disappointed with the length of it. I think my favourite part of the game was the dual lightsabers. There needs to be a good 3rd game tho

From what I heard they originally wanted to go with Yoda or an old republic cowboy-esque OC Jedi, only to be suddenly told that only they have nine months, so they had to reuse as much of the original assets as possible and write the story as fast as possible.

I remember playing the demo and think “damn, this demo is dope. It’s gonna be be way better when it comes out” To give an example, the first two games is like having an appetizer that’s better than the main course

That Tram section took me an hour playing on the Ps3 verison, just because of those multiple rockets doing so much damage or the part would glitch after getting hit and just fell I think it might have been the copy

I remember when I got to Darth Vader and was like surely Vader will escape and set up the rest of the game it can’t be this short. Then the ending started. That shit was mad frustrating. But at least the dlc gave just Jedi Leia. That was a plus.

You'll actually like the game if you play it on the Wii it's different game play wise and it's some what challenging

The first game had two different versions - previous gen (PS2, Wii) and next gen (PS3, 360). They're completely different gameplay-wise, level wise, and the PS2 one actually has more levels (3 Jedi Temple levels in the base game and 1 Bespin level near the end). Each has its strengths, but I much prefer the PS2 one.
