I have to say, I have a KZfaq playlist meant for "Photography - Editing" videos and totally by accident it's exclusively filled with IceflowStudios uploads. The space scene, the Christmas lights and this one have to be some of my favourites so far. Good one, Mr. Pinsky!

What we have here is a 5 minute tutorial that is of an absolute professional standard - not that we'd ever expect any less of Howard - and one that is well paced, accurate and informative. It contains exactly 25 seconds of lightweight promotional material. No invasive banners, ads, or pop-ups - just a brief mention, so that the well deserving creator can earn a buck. Nobody here has the right to complain.

Great video! You don't only just show the basics, you show how to recreate stuff that you see every day! Which is great in my opinion! Keep up the great job!

been watching this guys tutorials for months now i watch the tutorial and pause it a various spots to make notes i write as much detail as i can he is very quick in descriptions but ive filled up a few scrap books with my notes, means i can go back to them later and also can give them to my partner to use :) otherwise i would spent years on here still watching too LOL

I love tutorial like this one. I have a question though - how could we distort it so that the center of the starburst would not be the same as the center of the picture? Other than moving it around of course.

One thing I'm wondering, I do understand how people like you discover things like how to use textures and patterns properly etc. and get a feeling for things, but what I don't understand is, how do you discover all those things like which blending option you have to use for a certain effect etc! I just found out that if you pull the gradient at 45° angle, applying the wave will give you a kilt pattern

as always an awesome tut and dont listen to the crap about paid promos, i think you tie them in nicely whenever you have them so that they are unobtrusive the the content material. people need to learn that your tutes form part of how you make a living and that you're not a charity.

Hey guys if at 2:40 you realize your Photoshop has 2000 pixels, it's because you have Photoshop CS6, don't worry about it and just manually type in 999 pixels!
