Literally from 20 minutes when you see the mass infestor you already know protoss lost the game , it's a shame honestly the rare occasion where protoss win is when zerg fuck up the infestor micro .

@@KermitTheArchitect what happens to the nova if you activate it and then it gets neraled do you still control the nova? can tempest/ rupters work against infestor broodlord? the zerg could at the very least mass lings to wreck your rupters and corrupters for the tempests worst case scenario I guess blizzard really needs to see this game

@@fishlobs tempests would ve been a poor choice imo, the enemy can easily pick of 2-3 each combat without giving a considerable loss and win the game through attrition. IDK, this game seemed unfair to me.

Every noob crying because of infesters op but when they use it in lategame vs protoss, they get demolished.

Would be nice. The ability to neural entirety of opponents army is definitely op. Massive units should be resistant at least.

@@iridium9512 I used to think so too. But far smarter people than me have said that the better nerf is to reduce the range of neural from 9 to 8 or 7. Which is actually better if you think about it.

@Liam Van Den Berge I guess that would kind of work, but it would also kind of defeat the purpose of fast reaction times. Infestor is perfectly balanced when fighting mid range tier 2 units which can be decently quickly produced and massed. Not so much these super expensive tier 3 units which take eternity to produce, cost a lot of minerals, gas and supply.

Broodlings tend to swarm High Templar before they can get too close to make a "good" storm on Infestors; they might be able to hit some infestors on the periphery of a storm or with a feedback, but it does nothing about the Brood Lord problem. I have observed this succeeding only once or twice in a pro game.

You storm the Zerg swarm; if are trying to micro this fight, you storm the group if you can, you feedback an infestor if you are nowhere near the hydras or Brood Lords. In an actual game, you hit the targets you can given how fast things move. Please do not give remedial advice as though I were a neophyte (you feedback the infestors, no kidding).

Now you got me thinking does a hallucination show the protoss players upgrades? If not it could be a way to figure out a hallucination without a detector.

Ahh terran can handle this neural parasite tactic fairly. Ravens could dissable them(if we have a chance) Liberators prioritize infestors as targets, the range and damage advantage of mech is significant (which means there is a highprobability that infestors will die even before they could cast a thing and ghost emp if the player has the skills). Terran scan the surroundings then cast yamato ahead before the infestors (on rare occasion even if they get a hold of a bc with neural zerg is having a hard time killing them). Vipers are more of a threat to us(terran) than the infestors (fungals are good against bio but splitting bio units is L2P issue nothing to complain against fungal). However toss has some issues with them especially now that carriers suck. And zerg FREE UNITS SCALE WITH UPGRADES which a good thing if your playing zerg. Not an expert but thats my opinion, cheers!
