►StarCraft II features the return of the three species from the original game: Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. In the Terran campaign, the original StarCraft briefing room is replaced with an interactive version of the battlecruiser Hyperion, with Jim Raynor, now a bitter and hard-drinking mercenary captain, as the central character. In a departure from previous Blizzard games, the campaign is non-linear, with Raynor taking jobs for money and using that money to buy additional units and upgrades.
►Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void. You are Hierarch Artanis, leader of the mighty protoss race. Years ago, your homeworld of Aiur fell to the merciless zerg Swarm. Now, at long last, you have raised a powerful fleet of warships known as the Golden Armada, and are poised to reclaim your world. But an ancient evil-Amon-threatens this destiny and the fate of the entire galaxy. Only you can reunite the protoss factions and defeat the coming darkness before it consumes all life in the sector.
►Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty features approximately the same number of units as the original StarCraft. Some units from the original game have returned, some featuring new upgrades and abilities. Wings of Liberty has 29 playable campaign missions, but only 26 of them are playable in a single playthrough since three missions are choice-related alternates.
►Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm has 20 missions in the campaign (plus 7 evolution missions which allows the player to upgrade its units), and continues the story from Wings of Liberty.The player plays from the perspective of Sarah Kerrigan, recently returned to her human form by Jim Raynor. Similar to Wings of Liberty, the briefing room is replaced with an interactive exploration of the Leviathan, an enormous zerg breed which functions as a Bioship. Kerrigan and her allies are located in the nerve center, she has a personal chamber for altering her abilities, and there is an evolution pit where she can upgrade her units and perform evolution missions with the evolution master Abathur.

Instead of scaling everything UP Work with what you've got and scale things DOWN If there's a lower limit, go with that and build up from there :)

There is not really a difference. Because you zoomed out so much, it looked like the marines and MCV´s had been decreased in size, so you could as well have made it so and avoied all the problems with the size of the map.

it would be possible to use a map that appeared much bigger than this one if you would have scaled things down instead, like how the "real scale melee" mod does things. when you zoom out it looks like you are on a small map and that could be averted by scaling things down. would be interesting to see how that would look in my opinion, and I might actually look at an entire video of your because you have potential to be HUGE! ;)

The tank was waaay too big. Ot is not a vehicle that you fit 15 people inside. You can compare it to cinematics, to Wing of Liberty or Ghost... it was slightly larger than marine or Maraude...

If the damage of the battlecruiser matched its size, there would be nothing but this massive chasm left on the map where it fired. A marine would ask, "Commander, are you sure you want to nuke us all into oblivion with that thing?"

The battle cruiser they use in the game is a Minotaur class IN ORBIT smaller version of the battle cruiser

I think what you had is more like the actual size of Hyperion. A normal battlecruiser is probably not as large as that.

No way the Viking is that huge! You can see a Viking on the Whings of Liberty canpain in the Char section "lobby" next to Tychus! No to menthion the worksop with Swann. The Minotaurus BC is 600m. I am not sure if 600m fill the whole map like this.

Speed is almost the same as Supreme Commander's mid/late game when all the dead units start piling up and the AI still gives them orders... Oh I miss that game already. Blizzard better hire Chris Taylor and make StarCommander or SupremeCraft.

I dont think that's the right size. The battle cruiser should be only as big or twice the size of the command center or just about 8x the size of banshee. What you did there is the Hyperion, Jim Raynor's ship. If you play the campaign mode, you will see that the battle cruisers are not that big.

idk, checked the wiki to make sure, since I thought it should still be bigger. And ye, BC supposedly have crews of 4000-7000 crewmen usually? I always assumed they were similar to Star Destroyers in Star Wars, I'd say in scale they would be even slightly bigger than the one in the video. I'm not a SC guru nor anything though, so just my opinion. googling it up it does show different types of BCs differing a lot in size so ye.

FaustSketcher I'm not really sure either, but looking at this video, It shows that the battle cruiser is about 20x larger or more than the command center. Imagine if terran will attack a zerg army using a battle cruiser that is 10x bigger than their hive, that would only take 1 battle cruiser and the zerg army will GG out already!! XD

This is the correct size. Minotaur Class Battlecruisers (the one in game) is about 500 meters long, which is much much bigger than 8x size of the Banshee (about 10 meters in length). And that's not even the largest class of Battlecruiser. The Behemoth Class (you get to see those occasionally in the campaign) is well over 1 km in length, comparable to the old Protoss Carriers. You also have to remember that the Battlecruiser in the video is a lot closer to the camera, which made it appear even bigger.

yep BCs are huge and are able to transport a whole army and materials for structures but are nothing compared to the protoss armada, in game it would be not fun since marines can stim and take em down so easily lol

The scv Are too small they giant 15 meters robots and the buildings are a Bit to big otherwise ervery thing is pretty good. By the way the Battlecruiser is perfect (The Tank is to big to)

Of course you can Play skirmish. ITS Just not called skirmish any more. You can go to versus and then AI. Or you can go to arcarde and custom Game.

There are different sizes of battlecruisers, your scaling isn't the only correct one.

There should be only one size, as battle-cruiser always refers to size. The Norad II is massive in the short animated videos but in game its just the same size as the others in game. Its was excusable in SC1. For SC2 they should have made the scale a little more believable and left out the stupid cartoon-y art style

Yep, If you live in lore land sure than make up what ever you want, But in reality, battle-cruiser is a CLASS of ship. Limited to certain parameters. This may change over time but ships are re-classified to fit into the class with the appropriate parameters. Games that take terms such as battle-cruiser and apply it to ships that are vastly different in size is either just: 1 .Poor writing with someone that did not do their research or 2. A poor attempt to rectify inconsistent scale depictions of the same thing. Starcraft ORIGINAL lore never contained more than 1 battle-cruiser was not till after the SC1 came out that people started try to make excuses for why something that is massive in a cut scene is suddenly only the size of about 6-8 marines.

Yep there is one base type, the NoradII and Hyperion may have had minor upgrades but they were all on a base battle-cruiser. types and classes of battle cruiser in SC did not existed till AFTER SC 1 came out.

IF you look at a picture of a battle cruiser it looks like a flying city, could hold 100k+ PER BC, so imagine the size of the starport that creates it, etc.

Battle cruiser size is a little too large for a mass commercially produced unit. Some units size are a little bit inaccurate considering one commercially produced battle cruiser is a size of a whole city. Its even way more ridiculous if you scale it the size of a continent.
