Mixing it with Sky High was a pretty weird choice, but I think it worked. The loop on it sounded a little unnatural though.

Both are composed by Naofumi Hataya, the tracks are structurally similar, just in a different key. I opted for a 'loop to the beggining' so we could hear the 'hue's samples more on this version. Also, all Naofumi Hataya remixes in generations loop to the start, including Green Hill Classic, so it's accurate.

@@MasteredRealm I understand wanting to loop back to the start for the reasons mentioned, but it feels like there's an extra half a beat or something hidden in there that just messes with the flow of the loop.

I just checked it's down to the sample accurate. Maybe it's the cymbal I added that's throwing you off. The og song doesn't use any.

that's just the rhythm in that intro section. it is VERY weirdly written, so that the upbeats feel like the downbeats. but it lines up correctly; no beats are missing or added
