Actually yes, sometimes is disappointing. I'm flying a Warhammer and in total is more comfortable than the Kepler R that is supposed to be something awesome. Well at least the Kepler R has a big kitchen and mess hall/recreation hall 😁

I love the Kepler, but still needed to add a Captain's Quarters model. It's like people in Starfield don't sleep or something...@@ZendaKenn

@@curlzncrush it's more or less like the toilets around, i.e. one for all and all for one 😅 I modified too my Kepler R, adding more beds, so it's more a "family oriented" ship 😁

Same! Added a pair of Vanguard Auto Electron guns, upgraded the reactor and grav drive, then duped the center rear engine to address mobility issues. (I used a structure mid bracer thing to hold up the reactor after moving the rear engine from the middle to each side.) The end result can be *shockingly* fast for such a large ship with high cargo.

Also same!! Took off the default engines and put on 4 of the SAE-50 I think, can't remember the actual designation (B class high thrust and maneuverability). They're also flat horizontal and slip right to slots left by the removal of structurals. Also took off the two landing gear with only 2 thrust power as they weren't necessary. Then added a workshop and an armory into the perfectly available space. Slim docker. Added a bunch of Particle beams and upgraded the Shield. Also upgraded the reactor to the B class that has 39 power, forget what it's called. All of that upped my max crew to 7. With the crew, I can get 218 top speed, already achieved 100 mobility and the particle beams (all three weapon groups) just melt everything especially when fired together. Oh, and shields up to about 3000. I'm freaking loving this ship. The only downside is that it's so maneuverable I rarely get a chance to use my boost in a dog fight because I can just stay right on enemy butt. Almost too easy, but somehow never stops being fun. My first new game, I went for the Kepler R. Way more of a pain to upgrade in my opinion, but If you just want a bigger ship I guess it's not a bad starting point.

I was wondering which of the two was a c class ship. I think I'll go with the R. As I h😊ave enough b class ships lol. I don't own a car class and the Vista keeps escaping me lol.

It seems that the design can vary a little bit.

When I did the quest, I chose this ship from a lore point of view, wanting to make an affordable vessel for the market.

@@CrimsonFlyboy I get that part of it but they have several vessels that fill the role of the proposed new ship so to me the S seemed pointless.

Kepler R suffer the problem of too much ladder and needless part. Kepler S is back to simple and not become bread design like other Stroud Ship.

You can trim it down and remove pieces to make it sleeker, but at that point your better off building your own, would be cheaper

Im guess it changes based on how you choose the options in the quest. I went for the cheapest options

I believe you got the Kepler R then instead of Kepler S

Its un the cockpit module somewhere, its usually to the left side looking at the chair or against the door that leads out

​@darrenrice6223 the captains locker and cargo are usually close to each other. The cargo is usually an illuminated blue panel on the wall. It's similar to a tablet in size.
