Starfield Quick Tip: Free ship and how to use the flashlight

11 ай бұрынBethesda's Starfield is a pretty expansive, complex game. Sometimes simple things like turning on the flashlight, and holstering weapons is not so simple.
So In character creation I took the "Dream House" perk, Which is actually quite nice despite a lack of furnishings. Nearby, about 1km run, there was a POI (Point of Interest) so I took to exploring it. Stumbled on some Spacers who I guess are the bad guys, and well convinced them their ship is now my ship. How nice of them.
In a future guide I'll show how to register and make it legally yours.

And now I know how the flashlight works, thanks. I saw it was on and didn't know how to turn it off before, and I'm sure that absolutely ruined my stealth abilities on one mission...

yeah flashlight is an annoying thing. It does affect stealth the same way wearing a space suit does.

You entered the ship while it was landed on a planet. When you climb the ladder and enter the cockpit you are suddenly in space staring at the planet.

yes, It happens a lot really. Board ship and it takes off so you need to fight to get back to the planet.

But some people would have you believe you can land on gas so why can’t you land on water?
