WOW!! I'm now officially MAD at you: every time I have an idea for a ship, you've already created something a hundred times better! Loving the roleplaying of your ships and their videos!!

I love this build. I do not have Starship design on my current playthrough yet but I found that if you take over an Ecliptic Rapier it will have the fuel tanks and some slayton engines already on it that hit the requirement. This means you have to make do with two of the four big fuel tanks (I used Nova bracers in the spot on each side). Onces its somewhat rebuilt, I just imagined that we liberated this vessel from Ecliptics who had gotten their hands on it before it was fully scrapped by the UC. This way some parts on it differ a bit from your build but can be replaced with the original design once my character has the right starship design perks. I am still playing around with layout a bit to reduce ladders or place them to my liking). I moved the command center 2x2 down a level and dropped the hope tech hallways completely and put the armory in their place. On the port side of the command center is an infirmary (I use the Starvival enhanced infirmaries and Make Rosie a Doctor mods so this has a bigger use case). The upper deck is now the living space with a captains quarters, Living quarters, and All in One Berth in the aft, from port to starboard. Fore of that is the workshop. Overall it has the same outline but make use of more Deimos parts and lower level parts. Thanks for the inspiration.

Definitely a unique looking build. I like the roleplaying aspect and backstory. Can't wait to see the other 2 builds you came up. So will wait for those before making a "purchase" 😂 Im currently enjoying the Archer-Class build right now. It's really fun to play, and especially the different tactics needed with the weapon layout. So fun to watch enemies blow up after launching a couple of salvos.

Great ship design, love how it neatly fits in the Deimos style From my experience, the Battle station hab does not play nice with ladders and doors. Tried remaking this design and reorganized the back section of habs. My results were by ditching that keel of cargo containers on the bottom, pushing the hallway connectors down and basically flipping the living quarters and workshop deck with the Battlestation/computer core deck that the ladder situation was 'a bit better,' however the doorways got worse. No easy win till we get the ability to control those transfer points. I swear, the day that comes we will be seeing a thousand more awesome ship designs.

I can't stay interested long enough to make money. I finally got interested in the old West style deputy missions, i go back to the little western town, and the woman I'm supposed to see is unavailable. The mission icon reappears on my ship every time i get out. Bethesda really screwed me on this game. I talked about it for years. Never been more hyped for a game. I ignored all the bad reviews, i stood up for the developers, i bought the game, i played it for 40 hours, and i just cant anymore. Huge letdown
