Wish there were more habs in this game or at least habs that were more interactive. Love your ships. The Roleplay that goes behind them.

Yes, I would have to agree with you. Would be really neat to have interactive modules inside each hab, or even maybe in just a small handful of special habs. Its one reason why the nova galactic berth A is one of my favorites- it has a really neat wall mounted research station that looks like its just scenery.

Well, impressed with our work bringing these old UC ships back, the UC and Deimos Staryards sent me an offer for contract a few days ago, saying they'd like to contract Eag's Ship Shop to design a new class of warship. It's no secret, there's another Colony War brewing and the UC wants to win this time. /RP mode off Whether the next DLC involves another war or not (I personally think there will be,) and new extra ship building toys for me to play with, I'll be content right where I'm at for now! If they never bring updates to ship building, it's highly likely that I will one day begin building modded ships! We shall see!

I wanted to reuse my old weapons from my donor ship and couldn't because of the module limit, so I had to scrap the 8 side windows on the habs. Instead I used 4 Deimos wing A's to free up the required 4 slots for my weapons. Imo, I think it looks better with the wings, which also add additional weapon mounts and could also act as protection for the side thrusters.

I would imagine it probably does. I was hell-bent on being able to look outside, but you're right- Deimos wings would probably look a lot better 😂😂

Hey Eag, I want to comission a ship build for if Nova Galactic built a warship. Try to give it a Nasa vibe as if they called on old earth designs and then went from there.

I love starfields ship building mechanics but pretty much everything else feels hollow or not fully realized.

Great build as always, but my fave is still the constellation base ship. Will we get more all-in-one rp base ship builds like those? I'm looking for a big, luxurious ship I can spend the entire game in!

Not sure to be honest, 'luxury' isn't really my thing, but I have had thoughts to explore something like a large Stroud-Eklund yacht type of vessel, however I am just not really a fan of how their exterior pieces end up coming together personally. I may one day have a mostly Stroud interior, and a bit of a Frankensteined exterior.

@@dudeofbro3510 I probably could, but first I'd actually need to know what the 'meta' is 😅 My own personal meta is usually 70+ mobility, Particle Beams, max reactor, max shield lol. Is that pretty close? This is Bethesda solo gaming after all, we all end up building combat ships that vaporize the bad guys in just a few seconds

I built something different under the idea of your fleet. It doesn't look as appealing as your builds, though. I really want to achieve the same build quality as your ships. I'll probably go back and tackle it again. I couldn't make it exactly how I wanted it.The game told me.I put too many parts down lol. Like the seam line on the top of the ship I had it covered up with hopetech parts, But had to go a different route to build the put weapons on it. I uploaded it on my youtube channel if you wanted to see.

If its the ship I just commented on, I dont know what you're talking about- that is one sexy looking ship man! I definitely see where you got some inspiration from my builds, but that is a proper menacing looking Deimos ship. And yeah, when we build these big C-class ships with lots of detail, its almost a given that we'll hit the build cap lol. At least in my experience anyway!

Yeah I did actually try them on there, wasn't personally a huge fan, as they tend to like to close off sides from Taiyo habs and structural pieces, but I get it. It could be a viable option for sure!

I chose the name because Ithought the analogy was neat, and I thought it would totally be fitting as an arrogant thing for the UC to do- name a fleet lead ship after some ancient earth civilization's monuments/in relation to their monuments.

@@CMDREagle131 i see.. you do you. I personally detest the wests ignorance and obsession with Greek mythology and paganism though.. the entire western narrative of “known history” is mostly false. If you knew the truth about half of it that is hidden from the public and education system.. it would likely blow your mind.
