She is a great woman/actress yes. But the writers butchered her story and character development for no reason. And the effects are starting to look cheap. At this point, this is like having Halle Berry’s Catwoman on her resume because this portrayal of Starfire is so trash outside of the acting.

They came back because the power she was holding onto initially was Blackfire's. So Starfire's real powers were kind of buried beneath them. So when she inadvertently gave Blackfire back her powers of fire, Starfire's power of Energy Bolts, etc returned.

@@carrastealthsorry for late reply but they weren’t talking about her blue powers they were talking about how towards the end of season 2 she just randomly lost her powers and couldn’t use them and then in season 3 they just came back out of nowhere

Season 3 was like a small little reboot so instead of blackfire controlling that woman she came to earth in person and then was captured

No… no they weren’t. And no one is being racist at all. This portrayal of Starfire…. And the majority of the characters of this show… is trash. Her plot is jumbled and rushed. They never explain half of the crap that happens with her. The effects are starting to give CW levels of cheap. Its a mess. They changed her appearance to fit the budget because they weren’t painting her orange every episode. But that isn’t the main issue according to the comments. People are mainly complaining about the changed and sloppy character development and story. They had so much potential and ruined it.

Anna Diop as Starfire is just amazing and my new crush, it’s the writers that screwed up her charecter’s true potential due to shitty plot along with lazy CGI Raven’s plot execution was the worst of all characters in Titans Beast Boy and Dick Grayson are also pretty good other than Starfire

Agreed with the storm part. She portrays emotions well without being too dramatic, has an air of strength about her, and she really commits to using her “powers” which is something actors can make seem corny when they don’t commit

Starfire is a frickin allien with orange skin. The whole idea of her being red head comes from the fact that she's star and got nothing to do with any human ethnicity. Anyone can play her. That being said, the show as a whole sucks.

That's not going to happen. The producers chose her because she's awesome -- and defended her when people were being racists. Not every character has to be white -- especially when the character isn't real. As far as her powers go, you have to think about the budget constraints the producers have to work within. Creating shows like this is very expensive. As far as her personality goes, this show is more adult. She and Dick slept together in like the 1st season, so they couldn't choose someone that looked too young.

Stupid comment. The character is an alien. White race does not exist in other galaxies.
