Stargate SG-1 (often stylized in all caps, or abbreviated SG-1) is a military science fiction adventure television series and part of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's Stargate franchise. The show, created by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner, is based on the 1994 science fiction film Stargate by Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich. The television series was filmed in and around the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The series premiered on Showtime on July 27, 1997 and moved to the Sci Fi Channel on June 7, 2002; the final episode first aired on Sky1 on March 13, 2007.

Ironically MGM (who use to own the franchise before Amazon) refused to list SG1 as their most successful TV and Movie franchise because of the lost they suffered from the drop in Cable subscriptions and the devalued US Dollar vs CAN Dollar at the end of the decade.

I grew up on StarGate SG1 and Atlantis. All these actors will forever be burned into my mind. I owe this series a lot of my fascination with space. Crazy thing is this lol possible and that’s what so exciting about StarGate and SGU needs an ending 😢

gaudamit time passes WAAAAAY TOOOO FAST i was just thinking just last week while rewatching SG1 that Michael Shanks would be the PERFECT casting choice for a live action remake of one of my favorite movies from my childhood Disney's Atlantis as Milo... like the face, the glasses, the attitude, the voice... and now i realize hes like 60 freakin years old... wtf... shit... i guess im getting old...

25 years is a full generation, so change is inevitable with time being more gentle on some than others... as it is with the rest of us on the planet. What a ride and adventure these folks brought us on... the stories and characters where lovely ... i'd love to see a reboot.. this was a lovely franchise... I still enjoy watching many of the episodes again ...

@@AmySkribble stop spreading misinformation on the internet, the generally accepted number of years in a generation varies from 20 to 30 years, usually indicate 22 or 25 years, when children are born and grow up, become adults, and begin to have children. if you think that when you were a 15 years old you were an adult, you are wrong.

I loved watching this show every week. Christopher Judge is a great actor even in costume and make-up. Amanda Tapping is a good actress I'm this TV series. She still looks good at a good age.

Sry but this was not Chaka! The shown picture is from „Warrick Finn“ he is the captain of the ship „Sebrus“ and his race is called „Serrakin“. He is also played by Dion Johnstone in the first place, but in the episode „space race“ he was played by „Alex Zahara“. Chaka is an Unas. He was really played by Dion Johnstone, but ist’s just not the right picture. Sry I am a hardcore Fan 😃

Likely just scraped a bunch of images together for a quick video for views with very little research. They got a lot of things wrong in this video. Edit: they even put the casting in a very odd order in this video. Maybe they just googled a list of actors for the show and grabbed the first images they could find.

I Just finished star gate SG1 for the 20th time. My favorite show growing up it’s definitely time for a remake of the movie based of the TV Series! How good technology has gotten movie wise it’s time.

You need a Part 2 for some fairly regular characters you left off the list: Neil Denis that played Teal’c’s son; Mel Harris who was Oma Desala; the young man who worked the gate controls when Walter wasn’t there; Dr. Rothman; and more!

Hormis les quelques erreurs sur cette vidéo. Stargate SG1 est la plus grande série fantastique qui m'est été donné de regarder. Un film d'anthologie (1994) à donné naissance à ce bijou 3 année plus tard. Merci à toutes l'équipe de SG1 de nous avoir rêvé durant de nombreuses années.

Habe den Piloten Film und auch die Serie geliebt habe sie von Anfang bis Ende und zwar mehrmals von Anfang am coolsten fand ich natürlich das Kapitel als die supersoldaten dazugekommen sind die fand ich echt gruselig.
