Bringing instability and chaos to an entire galaxy with the SGC’s future actions after eliminating the system lords. As for the rest. If we had left the Pegasus replicators alone they would not have become a threat. So it’s not self defense but a violent response to the results of our own actions. The other replicators only desired technology and natural resources in order to propagate, which we did not have. If we didn’t align ourselves with the Asgard, the replicators would have ignored us. The Ori were content with the false belief that the Alterans had died off. Only because of our actions or more specifically the actions of the war criminal Daniel Jackson, did the Ori become a threat. And instead of first threatening them with a genocidal weapon and negotiating a peace. We immediately used it with no warning. By we I mean the war criminal Daniel Jackson. As for the Wraith. We have weakened them to the point that they must capitulate to our demands. We will most likely force them to relocate to reserved areas of Pegasus galaxy. @@AyrtonFelipe1 Ascended beings CAN still die. By either a special weapon or by the collective of ascended beings. I assume after a while the others would break up the fight and force Adria to either behave or die.

True, but there's a reason for it. Ascended beings cannot be destroyed or imprisoned. The only solution left is for another ascended being to "distract" them... forever.

@@MDP1702 Actually, they weren't killed so much as "neutralized". Daniel specifically said they couldn't be killed, so what Merlin's device actually does is emit a form of energy on the opposing wavelength of the Ori - essentially it "cancels" them out just like with Anubis and Adria. Basically it did what you see here, but on a galaxy-wide scope.

@@0megacron But if it is a kind of energy that keeps them "neutralised" for ever, wouldn't other ascended beings like Adria or Morgan not be able to go into the Ori galaxy without being affected too?
