I got the feeling by what the Shade said at the end, that he just wants to stop Eclipso. I also think Eclipso is the one that killed Chuck.

I think the shade might help the kids out from eclipso..from the comics..he was neither good or bad..like catwoman when you saw her help out batman..but it's still interesting to see how that plays out..but as far as the pink pen goes..I had a feeling jakeem was supposed to get it..but yeah..I'd rate this episode a 9.5..but I loving this season..can't wait for the next episode when tigress and sportsmaster broke out of prison..thought we would probably be seeing them again..also wonder if Chuck will get his memory back..and wonder if the gambler will coming back also

To be honest I do not think Doctor mid-nite is dead as I think eclipso It’s going to kill him but the shade dragged him away to safety because I don’t think the shade believe in killing people

Also I heard from the showrunners in a internet clip a while back that after the fourth episodes this will go in a whole shocking other direction then now, also from 5 on till 13 it's different writer's including Geoff Johns.

Looks like the show runner for Stargirl is going with the Shade as the anti-hero mentor, not the supervillain of the ISA. I am not sure what's going on with wildcat. Is she having PTSD with the fact she killed Brainwave or has Brainwave imprinted himself onto her mind as some kind of malignant consciousness. 🤔

In comics the shade has a somewhat closer relationship to Starman and the jSA . in one counter Starman shows the shade the light of everything he done in showing how many people he harmed in the shade turns good working as a somewhat Ally to the jSA information wise about stuff that happens in criminal world

They should do a crossover with Supergirl

Surprised you didn’t include the ending scene with the warning about eclipso. I’m actually really scared for him because he’s one the jsa biggest villains and in the comics I’m pretty sure he killed both wildcat and dr mid nite (the new ones)

@Chainsaw At the end when Shade was on the tower, Didn’t he sound a bit concerned and worried for the JSA? (From the comics I know he sits in the grey area, like villain and anti-hero. )

I don't know about her making mistakes per say she was pretty much a prodigy with the only true mistakes that she made we're more like just judgment mistakes

Honestly I felt like they portrayed him more in a good light than a villainess light even when he attacked them considering he just wanted talk to them and all the sudden someone just try to attack him and plus he didn't harm anyone he literally just help them down and subdued them I'm pretty sure he's a a good guy in the idea that he wants to make sure that clipso is locked away again

Honestly this episode made me not like Mike first off I knew he wasn't getting the pin and if you would have got the pin I would have gotten mad because they name-dropped the person who supposed to get the pain in this episode early on and when he was just a side character more this episode really made me not want him apart of the team
