I was just about to leave a comment saying something along those lines. It's the same level of game design that is 100% intended to fuck with the player because yes. GTA Online has some differences (both for the better and for the worse), but it still has the same stupid philosophy behind it. Wait, GTA Online actually has a reason for all the respawning enemies following you and the 80%+ accuracy that kills you before you can react. Selling shark cards. What these mod authors have? There’s no beef. It’s two different clashing perspectives. Ben wants modders to fully support and dedicate time to a free to play mod as if they’re actual developers. Sure it’s reasonable to want that. But at the same time the creator of this mod made the point that Ben is entitled for expecting that because in reality, the modded doesn’t owe him anything. He made a mod for fun and at the end of the day the modder doesn’t need to dedicate their lives to it if they don’t want to as, also at the end of the day, Ben can just NOT play it. The modder doesn’t need to reply to Ben and sort through intricate problems when it’s so unique to Ben. I’m sorry but if my free mod works for most people and one person comes to me with a unique problem, I’m not gonna spend hours of my day trying to be customer service lol. Ben IS kinda entitled though. That’s why the modder just stopped indulging the argument. Why would he waste time arguing with some random streamer if he doesn’t want to spend the time doing customer service shit in the first place.

@@TheSCPStudio you very conveniently forgor that mod dev reached to Ben first to make him to try out the mod and then for some reason left the server Ben was in too and he couldn't reach dev. It is dev's responsibility to be a custom service in this case. Still, if you have the time to help other person to make your mod to run it would be good to do so, you don't really want someone to ditch your mod in favor of other because person wasn't able to run it.

​@@TheSCPStudiothe modder sent the mod TO Ben. Left all servers when Ben was asking for help, then came on stream and lied about Ben. But I guess if you reach out and give a mod to someone, that's just a random streamer that picked up the mod.
