STARK VARG First Ride for an average rider in the desert

Some clips from my first ride on my Varg. I learned from Stark that my bike was not updated at the dealer, or that the update they did didn't stick so I don't have ride stats. I was riding for well over an hour at mostly 45hp and ended with more than 50% battery. I'm not a fan of the kick stand at all, if you move the bike even a little it pops up halfway instead of staying put. I rode at 80hp for a bit...holy crap that's a lot of power but worth it. Since getting home I've found that I can't perform the update over the air and I have not been able to charge it yet. Stark has been very responsive and is working with me to fix the issues.
The only thing I think I'd want is the rear hand brake. Other than that this bike is near perfection.

They really are amazing. Nothing really ever like it. Very smooth when you need and can rip if you want. And never any engine work or failures again! Best part for sure.

Man after riding it and looking back I feel like I didn't open it up at all. I still don't have a charging cable but I'm thinking I need to make one tonight and do a range test tomorrow.

Nice riding area. Does not look like socal. AZ perhaps? Interested to see how long the battery lasts in glamis. I have a feeling once you'll realize it once the paddle is on and you have a real load on it. Bet itll be a blast going up olds at the 80hp setting!

I'm so excited to get it out there. I'm going to try an 8 paddle to let it slip a little and maybe save the battery some. Based just on this one little run I feel like battery life will be fine...I hope. I'm over in New Mexico now but it does feel like Arizona still...just not as hot.

Check to see if it's set to kilometers, mine was. Change it in settings.

It's definitely in miles. There's some weird stuff going on with it. I think the charging cable is bad and I can't do an update that stark says it needs. So I have not been able to ride it since the video due to the charge.

It closest to Rio Rancho NM. I'd never been back there before and I was floored. They call it "southern"

I just did my second ride and I think I'll agree. I kept it at 50 still and it got me in trouble a few times. I'm uploading the video now.

From what I'm seeing from this last ride I could have easily gotten about 4 to 5 hours. The bike needed a software update so it didn't store my ride times.

I'm trying to figure out if I can do both. I imagine with a double banjo bolt it would be easy to do.

Yeah I rode a KTM 350 with a Rekluse Auto Clutch that had both. It was a bit confusing since I'm usually on either a YZ250 or a Sur-Ron Ultra Bee. So either or but having both.

I'm on the site now to order the hand brake. I'm sure I could get it to work. I'll make a video if I do. My ktm 450 has a rekluse clutch and I'll never have a bike without it now. Except the Varg.
